Chapter 9

"What..." I stare at him, blankly.

"I'm the real Hunter, Y/N...I-"

"No...no no...y-you can't.." I start to stutter.

"It's true Y/N.."

"NO NO It can't be.."

"Who else would give you those visions? The dreams?"

I stare at him blankly with a sad expression. He looked sad and serious. He stared into my eyes.

"I did Y/N, for your own good, for your fathers own good. Before I met you, I was always dreaming. Dreaming about my dreams and that the war would end. But it didn't. After I met you, I realized I was doing everything wrong."

"I wasn't brave enough. If I realized this before we disband..our dreams wouldn't have ended, but I was useless, stupid and weak. I only made everything worse. But when I met you, I wanted to change so bad. You made me change to a better person. You made me realize my wrongs but.."

"Taehyung-ah..."

"I can't change my fate."

"No n-no I-I can't..there's n-no..."

"Y/N you have to.."

"NO N-NO I-I-I can't.. I don't want to do it..I love you"

"Y/N...I love you too.."

Suddenly, he stopped. He had an expression were he was shocked to death. Then, blood came out of his mouth. He leaned closer to me. He was too heavy I had to kneel down as he lands on my lap in my arms. I held him tightly.

I looked at him as my eyes start to become watery. Blood was everywhere, on my hands and on the floor. He was covered in blood and so was my hands. Blood was coming from his back. He got stabbed.

I looked up and saw Jessica holding a knife with blood on it. She was standing in a stabbing position. She looked terrified. She was so terrified and shocked, she dropped the knife on the ground.

Then, she started screaming and shouting. She started to walk backwards while staring at her hands that was covered in blood.

"No NO!!! Please..please give me another chance!!!" She shouted as she lean against a wall.

I was confused of her behaviour. She didn't stop screaming and shouting to be forgiven. She keep on screaming to give her another chance. I looked at her, clueslessly. 

 "I'll do better next time! NOO-" Those were her last words before I saw her slowly turning older and older. She became skinnier and skinnier till she was left with very little skin. I could see her leaning against the wall, motionlessly.

"She's dead." I said.

"Y/N-ah..."

I looked back at Taehyung that was barely breathing. He was weak. He looked so lifeless.

"S-sshh...don't talk..I-I'll find help.." I start looking around.

"No..go...go retrieve the heart." He puts his hand on his chest.

"No..no I won't...I want to be with you..I'll stay with you.." I said as I hug Taehyung tighter. I realized tears started to drop on my hand.

"Please...please stay with me..."

"Don't leave me please...please...Taehyung-ah.."

"I love you....Y/N.."

'Someone...please help me...'

'The Headquarters'

"Huh!" I came to realization.

"The Headquarters. They can help."

I stood up, carrying Tae in a bridal way. I walked towards a wall and stood in front of it.

'Now, bring me home'

Immediately, I was teleported back home. I looked around and I was in front of the gates of the Underworld. I ran as fast as lightning to the Headquarters. The guards were about to stop me but I ran pass them but they recognise who I was so let me pass.

I ran straight to the court. As I enter the court, the Highman looks at me from above and everyone in the court stares at me.

"Y-Your Highness...You have returned." He said. He looked panic. I glared at him and looked around with a angry expression to tell them I have no time to be welcomed warmly. Then,

"Is that..a Hunter?!"

"Oh yeah it is!!"

The Highman heard the mummers and respond:

"Your Highness!! You have retrieved the heart!!"

Everyone in the court started to cheer of happiness.

"SILENCE"

Quiet.

"I'm not here to retrieve the heart." I said.

"What?!"

"What is she talking about?"

"Does she want us to die?!"

"My Dear Highness...why? You have brought the heart home. You sho-"

"LISTEN"

My face immediately turn sad and I said: 

"Bring him back."

"What!?! B-but-"

The court was full of mummers, questions.

"What are you talking about?" I heard a voice a few meters behind me. I turned and looked at the person. It was a girl. She was crossing her hands while leaning against the courts wall.

"Why would you want a Hunter back? He's our enemy."

Then, the people in the court started to whisper opinions to each other. Most of them agreed. I heard all their mummers. I became hot and flaming. I slowly put Tae down on the floor and walks towards her. She stood up straight facing me as I walked closer. When I reached her, I slapped her.

"Ow!! How dare you?!"

"I dare.."

"Take her away!!!" She shouted pointing at me.

"Who are you to say that?"

"Huh..I'm the one in charge now."

'What' I looked at her with a shock impression.

Then, the guards start to assist me away. I pushed them and punched some of them. Once they were all down, I punched her in the face. She falls down, recklessly.

"WHO ALLOWED THIS!?!?" I shouted to the people in the court as I scanned the whole area.

"All I ask is to bring him back to me..."

"I-I'm sorry Your Highness...I can't" -Highman

"What..."

"I'm afraid I cannot do anything..." -Highman

"Please..."

"Just please..."
