Part 6 - stupidity alec

The door opened as Isabelle looked round "Alec?...it's nice to see you but where's Magnus.. what you doing here?" Alec drops his bag "do you have a spare room?" Isabelle puts a hand out as her phone buzzes and she's grabs it off the side reading the text Magnus: hi, sorry to bother you. Let me know if Alec got to yours safely and I love him but I just don't know what to do anymore, I feel a part of us is missing since he's been ill and I don't know what to do to help, I can't do it alone, tell him I love him and il be there when he needs me but please Isabelle promise me that he will take care of himself and see somebody because I'm loosing it x

Isabelle reads it then looks at Alec "You umm..should probably read this" he takes the phone looking at it, then rubs his forehead as tears start to fall ,Isabelle pulls him in a hug "you want to know, what I think you need to do?" He nods "you need to go back to the doctors now, right now and get sorted with your health then you need to go back straight to Magnus and talk it out" Alec looks at her

"I can't.. it's hard and I was about to propose but I felt worse I'll wise" he says shaking ,she puts a hand on his shoulder "listen to me, you need to do this for Magnus sake, both your sake. How about I even ring?, or here's an idea you go have an appointment at Magnus with a doctor then you can talk it out" she smiles

He picks his bags back up as he sits on the couch while she goes on the phone.

Half hour later

6:46pm

After Magnus hears what's going to happen from Isabelle he sits on the couch talking to the doctor who's sat opposite ,the doc outstretches his hand "hi, again Magnus. So Isabelle has filled me in with recent problems ,can you tell me what's being going on?" Magnus looks at him "it just started when Alec was fine then I left him here with a friend to look after ,he said he felt worse so he took more tablets and then I came home to him hallucinating and he kicked off..then he left to his sisters.. to be honest here doc I feel like I'm useless, Alec needs help, we both do" Magnus has begging in his voice now

The doc smiles "I see, try not to worry. Your doing well with Alec and once he's here id like to discuss how I can help" he says just as the loft door opens.

Alec walks in silently with his head down as he stops at the couch looking at the pair ,the doctor talks first breaking the silence "Hi, alec. If you could take a seat. I presume your sister has filled you in" she smiles. Alec nods as he takes a seat beside Magnus

Alec's hands shake as he grips his t shirt tight fidgeting ,Magnus notices taking his hand in his "ok, so Magnus told me what's happened recently and obviously I'm here to help with your health and as Magnus sounds very concerned I'd like to help you both" he smiles at the pair as Magnus nods "thank you"

Grabbing the bag off the side he opens it getting out little tubs with labels as he sets them on the table "ok, alec I need you to listen and this is going to become a lecture" Magnus squeezes his hand as Alec nods for him to continue "what you done taking an overdose of your tablets was extremely dangerous to your health condition and could've possibly been worse, never mind putting others at risk with violence, anyway making a point these are two tubs 3 tablets go in one tub you take a day and the other id like you to put in 1 so they are organised"

"Yeah ok" Alec says with his head down, then the doctor stands "if it's alright with you before I leave I'd like to check your stomach over" Alec looks at Magnus who nods in encouragement helping Alec relax laying on the couch

He sits on the opposite couch now watching as Alec just stares at him ,the doctor pulls Alec's shirt up "tell me if anywhere hurts" pressing a finger into Alec's side then to the front as Alec stirs away "ahh.." the doc looks at him "right, I need you take deep breaths, sorry" he says before pressing his hand at the same spot, Alec shouts "st...op!" as he sits up then the doc looks between the pair "Alec it's important that I do this, in order to give you treatment" .

Magnus walks over to them now as he leans over him, Magnus moving his hand when Alec grips his other, he smiles at him as he lifts Alec's t shirt "I..t hu..rts" the doc presses a hand at lower of his stomach as Alec clenches his eyes shut with tears forming now ,Magnus rubs his hand

Then the doc goes the opposite side stopping "there swollen this side which is concerning ,can you tell me what caused this?" Alec looks at him "it must be those tablets, I've felt worse since them" he pulls Alec's t shirt down as he goes to his bag "I'm going to write and change you to different meds ,keep to your injections, also if you do those alone maybe Magnus can help" he smiles

"Ok so here's what I'd like to do now, don't take your tablets when your in pain take these antibiotics..any questions before I go?" Magnus stands now "uh yeah..what happens if his effects turn really bad?, like before I mean" putting a hand to Magnus shoulder "that was to do with the overdose".

Before Magnus walks to the door the doc asks him about the neck marks and can he check them but after refusal he leaves it as it is.

Magnus waits by the door while the doc talks to Alec. "Magnus has told me how he's struggling and it's hard for the both of you, so maybe if you spoke more about this and found a way to overcome it" Alec looks up at him now "I hurt him" Alec blurts out
