Dylan p.o.v.
My life usually follows a rather simple routine: get up, brush my teeth, eat breakfast, go to class, eat lunch, got to class again, do my homework, practice my fighting skills, eat dinner, study, go to bed. But as with all things, life never goes as planned 100% of the time. I joined atlas to hopefully be with people who were at least somewhat close to my skill level. Instead, the class I was stuck with was full of mediocre idiots who worshipped me like a god. And don't even get me started on the fangirls. We don't talk about it for a good reason. The teachers were always praising me, and holding me up to standards that I frankly don't care for. Every time I succeed where two or three of my classmates failed, I end up being almost deluged in compliments. I just want to be a normal boy that doesn't stand out too much. I muse on that as I walk down the street towards my house. I walk in only to find my mother and father in yet another heated argument. I walked up the stairs, and packed my bags. Upon walking downstairs, I said," I can't believe you two. Do you do anything other than argue with each other? I've had enough. I'm taking the assignment in Vale." They froze at my words, and as I walked out of the door, and down the street, I heard them yelling for me to stop. I ignored them, and called General Ironwood. When he picked up, i said," General, I'm taking the Vale assignment." He said,"Very well. The bullhead leaves in twenty minutes. Do your parents know?" I sighed angrily, and growled out," they're the main reason I'm taking the assignment. I'll contact you when i get to Beacon." I then hung up, heading towards the docks.
