"I got a 94... how did I get a 94?" You ask yourself in agony, fearing what was going to happen when your mom saw your test grade. You flip through the first page and all the questions were marked as right and the second page as well. You finally find the incorrect problem on the third page. "Okay, so I got question 19 wrong. Jimin, what did you get for question 19?"

"Oh, I got 7," He said leaning towards you and seeing the problem you had gotten the same answer on. "Wait, why did Mr. Kim mark that wrong?" He whispered with a puzzled look on his face trying not to draw attention towards himself.

"I don't know... I'm going to go ask him." You reply, getting up, and walking in between the desks towards the teacher.

"Yes Y/N, what do you need?" Mr. Kang questioned, looking up from his paperwork he had been scribbling words you couldn't make out.

"I was wondering why you counted this wrong?" You ask pointing to the question that had a big red mark.

"I didn't like the way you wrote your seven." He said looking back down and you took that as your cue to leave. You walk back to your desk trying to hold in your annoyance. Upon, sitting back down, you turn to one of your only friends in the school.
"He said he didn't like the way I wrote my seven."

"Really? Just when I thought that high school couldn't possibly get more stupid." He sighs, shaking his head.

"Class dismissed." Mr. Kang announced while gathering his belongings. You walk out of the room
with your head down and think of a way to explain this to your mother. She wasn't going to be happy. And just as you expected, the second you walked into your house, she ripped the test out of your hands. "A 94? Why are you getting a 94?" She screamed at you, shoving you up into a wall, causing your head to get smashed into the door frame.

"I-"

"Did I give you permission to speak?" She asked smacking you across the face. You looked over her shoulder and saw the empty alcohol bottles just as you expected. You bite your lip to keep yourself
from speaking and tears fall down your face. "Crying is for the weak!" She screams at you, releasing her grip as you crumple to the floor. She kicks you once, and again, and again. Suddenly, there is a knock on the door, and you look to see Jimin standing there. You rush to open it, but your mom is faster. She throws you to the side and opens the door.
"Hello! Y/N isn't here right now" She smiles.
"When will she be home?" He asked her, and you stand up behind her, limping and blood on your face. You could see him trying to hide the shock. You had never told him about the abuse. You loved him with all your heart but somethings you just don't tell people. You go back to where you were before Jimin got there, so your mom didn't notice, and he left. "Go to your room now. No dinner and if you let your grades slip one more time, I won't be so nice" She says staring you in the eyes. You nod your head and scurry up to your room. You see you have 20 messages from Jimin. Most of them were just asking if you were okay. You texted back that you would tell him tomorrow and put your phone on the charger, beginning to study.

After you had been studying for a few hours you grabbed your phone to scroll through Instagram not wanting to go to sleep quite yet. You ended up talking to a friend for an hour or so until you realized it was 1:00 am, and you needed to sleep. You turned off the light and laid down, not anticipating the following day.
