Hey guys,
Never done this before! So be kind and please let me know what you think :)

Chapter one- And then I fell....

'Tasha.... Tasha.... Natasha Becks are you ignoring me!' Shouted Courtney

I jumped out of my daze and bolted up right on sofa 'Wh-what? Sorry I was miles away! What were you saying?' I quickly replied. My thoughts had been else where as I gazed out of the window at the rain trickling down the pane. Thinking about that last argument, thinking if maybe I'd of just let it go, I'd still be happy right now!

'We should go out!' She stated. I groaned in protest, I really didn't feel in the mood but before I could open my mouth to explained 'look it's been a month and quite frankly I'm sick of seeing you mope about the flat, it's not good for you! Come on I promise it will be my mission to cheer you up'.

I sighed and looked down, I hadn't been out of the flat since that day. If it hadn't been the fact that I lived with Courtney, my best friend, I most likely wouldn't of seen her. I was ignoring my phone but at the same time jumping everything it beeped in hope that it was him... 'Right....so where are we going?' I responded weakly, I knew there wasn't much point I could see the look of determination on her face as she glared at me.

Well I'll text Kate and Jess and we'll meet them down in toast at 10, so you best get your butt moving I can smell you from here!' She smirked heading into the kitchen.

I glanced at at the clock on the wall and saw it was nearly 8. I breathed heavily through my mouth and and dragged my lazy ass off the sofa and stumbled into the bathroom. I turned and looked at myself in the mirror, 'god I look like death' I groaned. I was definitely gonna need this two hours to to attempted a transformation.

'Here eat this!' Courtney demanded as she barged into my room and shoved a plate of cheese on toast on my side board. I glanced at the plate and my stomach turned, I grimaced at the thought of eating. Don't get me wrong I love my food...normally. But I think I've maybe eaten a yogurt since last week. However I knew from Courtney's stance that she wasn't moving till I'd at leashed attempted it. I picked up a slice and started munching. 'There's my best friend I know and love' she grinned at me.

After finishing the toast I put a bit more make up on that normal, trying to cover my blotchy skin and bags under my eyes. I curled the ends of my light brown hair into tousled wavy and slipped on a sexy black dress with a low back and matching heels. Hey I was upset and sad but I didn't want anyone else to know that, let alone him. Butterflies erupted in my stomach as my thoughts leaped to would I see him tonight? could he be going to? will he speak to me? I pushed the thoughts out of my mind and plastered a smile on my face as I walked out of my bedroom door into the living room.

'Wit woo' Courtney whistled at me, I flashed her a dazzling smile and twirled.

'Have I scrubbed up well?' I asked.

'Your pretty much unrecognisable compared to two hours ago, we should of done before and after picture' she replied whilst getting off the sofa and straightening her cream and black dress and tucking the red streak in her blonde bob behind her ear.

'Ha your the only one I'd allow to see me like before! You ready?' She nodded on response and switched the music channel that was blaring out of the TV off whilst I grabbed my bag, before we both exited the flat and made our way on the short walk into town.

I looked down the street as I heard mine and Courts names being called to see Kate and Jess frantically waving at us. Jess in a purple peplum dress that showed off her gorgeous legs, Kate towering over her in a long black maxi skirt and a white tummy top showing off her perfect cheerleader abs.

Me and Courtney hurried over and all hugged, Kate had been speaking to the bouncer on the door who was friends with her boyfriend which meant that we walked straight up to the front of the queue. Once inside I glanced round the room trying to not look like I was desperately searching for him.

'He's not out tonight, I already checked' Jess whispered in my ear whilst tossing her long blonde hair behind her shoulders. Jess was his cousin and one of my best friends. My heart sank at hearing those words, but at the same time my shoulders relaxed and my butterflies went away. I thought well at least I can relax and have a good night with my girls. By this point Kate had come over with a pitcher of cocktails and started filling our glasses.

Courtney picked her glass up first and cheered 'to cheering Tash up! Well all raised our glasses and chimed in. I smiled to myself and thought I love my girls, no matter what they were always there for me.

After a few more glasses I ready to get my groove on 'Dance?' I asked and everyone nodded. We danced in a little huddle on the dance floor, having a laugh and sipping on our drinks for the majority of the night. Then mine and Court's jam came on we both gleamed at each other and got into positions, whilst Kate and Jess cheered us on.

Half way through the song I turned, however losing my footing fell off the platform stage we were dancing on. I let our a little squeal before I could catch myself two strong arms reached our and caught me as I face planted into their chest. I caught my breath thanking my lucky stars, broken nose is not how I wanted this night to end. I glanced up about to thank my saviour however when I did I froze, I felt like the music stopped and time was moving at its slowest. My heart jumped into my throat as I managed to only produced the words 'Lucas?'.

'Tasha! I didn't realise that was you, are you ok?' He asked my solemnly.

'Um yeah thanks for catching me' I replied. Whilst glaring over my shoulder at Jess who looked confused. I straightened myself up and smiled. 'I didn't think you were coming out?!' I stated as my heart raced.

'I wasn't going to....' He replied.
