Chapter 6

I stood in Jess's porch nervously waiting for her to answer the door.

Courtney arms were full of the ridiculous amount of food that we had bought from McDonald's. She stood there impatiently tapping her foot, she never was very good at waiting.

Finally the door swung open.

"Oh hi girls, did you have a good night last night?" Jess's mum said cheerily looking over at us chuckling, obviously realising we were a little worse for wear.

"Hi Mrs Franklin! Yeah I hope we didn't wake you" I replied sheepishly.

"Oh don't be silly you know once I'm out I'm out for the count" she laughed.

This was true the amount of parties we had thrown when we were younger especially without Jess's parent knowing was ridiculous. I'm surprised their alarm clock wakes them up in the morning, although the size of the house probably helps.

She shooed us in and told us Jess was still upstairs most likely asleep.

We made our way through the house and up to the third storey, Jess's room was like the penthouse.

As we approached her door my nerves got the best of me, I wasn't sure if she was still going to be mad, and I didn't know how to fix it as I wasn't sure what I had done in the first place. My pace slowed and Court barged past me, she was never one to back down from an argument whereas I would always run away from one.

"Come on stop being silly" she laughed whilst knocking on Jess's door not waiting for a reply before barging it.

Yep she was still asleep all her curtains were drawn and she was snoring extremely loudly in her huge queen size bed.

Courtney dumped the McDonald's on the sofa in front of the tv and ran over to the bed jumping onto the cover shouting "Jeeeessssss waking waking!".

I doubled over with laughter as Jess jumped up in the bed clutching her covers up to her shoulders screaming as though she was about to get murdered.

"What the hell guys? What are trying to do give me a heart attack!" She exclaimed.

I could tell that although she was pretty angry she was still smirking so she found it pretty funny.

I on the other hand was panting clutching my side trying to catch my breath from laughing so hard. Courtney went round each window and opened all the curtain light burst in through the room.

Jess groaned very dramatically and pulled the covers over her head. "Argh really?"

"Yes you do realised it's near 3pm!" Courtney said with one hand on her hip.

"Shit is that the time!" Said a male voice from behind me.

I turned quickly trying to figure out who the hell it was, Jess's parents never came up to her floor she'd banished them long ago.

Jordan stood there in the hallway that led to the bath room leaning on the wall his arms folded.

He was still wearing the same clothes as last night although they were very creased and look like he'd thrown them on in a hurry. His hair looked untamed and he had some stubble on his face however if I'm being honest it only made him look sexier.
