I felt the whip a few more times, but the sting of it still lingered even after the person stopped. I hoped a lot of time had passed so someone would come looking for me.
I stopped as the person began to speak, trying to figure out who it was.
"Stop movin',if ya keep it up you're gonna get real hurt." The person advised, yanking the chains a few times as if I wasn't listening.
It's Uzbekistan.
I really should've known.
Uzbekistan grabbed something else, which I heard sizzling like bacon. Though I was pretty sure it wasn't. That sound got me scared,no,more terrified because I knew he was going to put that sizzling thing on me and I knew it would burn like hell,
Within a minute,I felt a scorching hot pole on my arm. I could hear, feel, smell my own flesh burning, and with that temperature I was not in any way shape or form comfortable. I let out an agonised scream and tried to kick, punch,do something to make the burning stop. I felt the chains tighten down again, which made the sizzling worse, and I had no choice but to stay still and deal with the pain.
I gritted my teeth and squeezed my eyes shut, although I couldn't see anything anyway, and dealt with it.
After a few more minutes of agony,it was pulled away from my skin, and I heard a hissing sound and a plop. It was over. At least the burning part.
I could feel my skin bubble, and it was horrifying and disgusting. I could hear it,too. It was just gross. I wanted to do something, but I was still chained down. Suddenly the bubbling stopped and I felt the temperature drop on the place where I was burnt. Hopefully it would heal quickly.
I breathed I sigh of relief, and that was cut off by the crack of a whip. It wasn't on my skin, this one time. I was startled by it,but I stayed still.
Then I felt it on my skin again, except this time it was on my neck. Damnit, everything was hazy now. At least it covered up some of the pain.
If I get out, thats a big if at this point, what could I even do? I probably won't have enough strength to go back home, considering how far it is. The nearest place is 2 miles away! I probably couldn't even get up! Maybe if I- Wait, are we still at the temple? Well I wouldn't know. If we're not,I might be able to get somewhere. I doubt that,Uzbekistan is smart. We might be underground,or at a temple no one visits,or-
I paid attention to when he walked, trying to see what the floor was made out of. It sounds like marble. Okay,we are probably in a temple. What was the one I went to made out of? Cobblestone marble, right. I listened more, and sure enough,it was cobblestone marble. I heard him start to talk again.
"I'm done with you,I'm going to let you go."
I felt relief flood me completely. Thats seriously all he wanted? I felt some sort of tranquilliser go in my arm,and I lost consciousness again.
***
I woke up on the cold floor, and I rubbed my head and sat up. Was it a dream? I looked down at my body and shook my head. The marks we're still there. I noticed a aching pain in...
Oh,shit.
