The school bell rang, the class ended a while ago. Lloyd packed his stuff, ready to go home. But before that, he took something from his locker. An Oni Mask charm? He always wondered why he has it but he always brought it with him.

"We'll see you tomorrow then. See ya!" Kai said to Lloyd. His voice echoed through the hallway. Lloyd couldn't help but to smile at his dearest friend. He made his way home by walking.

"You're back! How was school?" asked Koko, his devoted mother, the one who took care of him ever since Garmadon left them. Or maybe she was the one who left him in the first place.

"Just another day in Ninjago High School. It was great, mom."

"You wanna eat something? I don't have time to make dinner, so I brought these instead! I'll be heading out soon, got some work to do."

"This late?" he asked with a worried face.

"Yeah. Sorry, honey. I'll be back by 11, so you better go to bed early! It's still a school night!" Koko gave him a kiss on the cheek before she left.

"Alright, I get it." Lloyd smiled.

Lloyd finally made it to school. Other students were whispering here and there, including his clique. He was confused, so he asked his friends. "What's going on? What're they whispering about?"

"Haven't you heard? There will be a new student soon." Cole replied.

"Aaand it's a girl!"

Nya elbowed his brother.

"I heard she's very pretty. But popularity? Nah, she's not that popular." Nya added.

"So, when is she coming here?"

"Today!" Zane exclaimed with joy.

"Wait, what?"

"There she comes, the new girl in town."

The white-haired girl just walked into the class. Her lips were as red as a rose, her eyes are orange-ish in colour and sparkling too. She was heading to an empty seat in front, which is not far from Lloyd's.

"You're right, Kai. She is pretty!" Jay admitted but that might left a scar on Nya's heart.

"Hey-"

"I-I mean, you're prettier obviously!"

Mr. Alex, their History teacher walked into the class not long after the new girl arrived. "Alright, alright, take your places! We're gonna have to start a new chapter today and - look who we have here. Are you new?" he said to the new girl.

"Yes." she answered.

"Huh, care to introduce yourself?"
