She looked at the notification on her status bar. Inside, she felt proud of him for defeating the first boss without any deaths. The raven-haired girl begins tidying up her shop for the hero to arrive since he has defeated the first boss. He will move from Austiris, the tutorial land to Brocuris. Between the two lands, the tutorial guide will lead the hero to her shop to buy some common gears.
Her name is Sheila Ravenknight. She is 18 years old and is currently single. Her occupation is the shopkeeper of the shop. Her shop sells weapons, potions, discounts, gears, anything the hero needs. The game describes her as a woman who is kind-hearted and soft. But rumors tell that her kind personality is merely a facade. Her true nature is said to be dark and horrifying.
She used to live at the capital of Moon Jade Island, Vaetha. But because of some things, she moved out of the capital and lived at small towns. Now she is currently staying at Brocuris. Wherever the hero goes, she follows. She didn't have to pack all her stuff and move it to the next land because the game will automatically teleport all the stuff to the next land.
As she continues cleaning the shop, she remembers that when the hero arrives at Brocuris... The event will happen. She has seen it a thousand times, another one wouldn't hurt.. she hopes. It was truly devastating to have an unrequited love for a person you'll never have. Even if you tried so hard, even if you did everything you could, they will never be yours. Because her life was already programmed by her creator and you can never defy your creator.
How she wanted to hug him and tell her all the words she's been keeping in her heart. All the 'I love you's, she wanted to tell him everything. But what could she do? She can only say what the creator types in her program. She could only say what the text in the bubble says. The same 'What do you want to buy?' and 'This is a ...'. Nothing more, nothing less.
Well , no more about the sad stuff. The island has nine areas, each has a final boss. The first one is Austiris. Austiris is the tutorial and introduction area. The hero will be introduced to the game functions and some things on the game. The next area is Brocuris. In Brocuris , he'll meet the princess and the main villain named Marcus. The man signed a contract with the devil to make him stronger and so that no mere man could defeat him. As the price for his contract, he must sacrifice a maiden to the devil. And like every cliche story, the man chooses the princess for the sacrifice. It seems he is stupid enough to kidnap the freaking princess when he could be kidnapping a girl from small villages.
One more thing you need to know, when the hero or player is offline, all the characters get to rest and meet with each other in a black room. This is the time every character is always excited for. In those periods of time, they can talk and meet with other characters that talk other than their usual lines. They can tell each other how did their day goes. Not that each day is different but at least they can talk about it. This is how the characters can get to know their real personalities. It's funny how their personalities can be very different from what they are programmed to be.
