4 boys and a band

"Luke get up, it's time to brain storm!" Michael yelled through Luke's window.

"What? How are you by my window?! I'm on the second floor!" Luke ran to the window and looked down. Michael was standing on Calum's shoulders. "What the-"

"Just come down already!" Calum yelled cutting Luke off.

Luke hurried and got his pants on, forgetting about a shirt. He ran into the hallway bumping into his sister Mandy.

"What the hell, Luke!" Mandy yelled from the floor.

"I didn't know you'd be right outside my damn door!" Luke held out his hand to help her up.

Mandy took it. "I didn't know you'd be running through the halls like a bat outta hell." Luke pulled her up. "What's got you in a rush anyways? Is Gillian walking by the house again?" She made kissy noises.

Luke shook his head. "No, the boys are here. They wanna brain storm song ideas."

"Luke," Mandy placed her hand on his shoulder. "Your band sucks."

Luke smiled and kissed her forehead. "Thanks, I love you too."

"We should dress like Kiss!" Michael yelled as Luke walked into the basement.

" I don't think so." Calum said almost Immediatley.

"Don't be afraid of change, Cal." Michael teased.

"I'm not, " Calum said biting his apple. "I'm afraid of stupid." Michael leaped across Ashton and tackled Calum. Ashton looked at them and laughed.

"So much for brain storming!" Ashton yelled as he jumped on top of Michael.

Luke sat know the floor and pulled out a notebook. There were lyrics written but no song name. He looked towards the boys and back at the paper.

he ripped the sheet out.

"What the hell, Luke?!" Calum screamed from the bottom of the pile. "I worked hard on that!"

"It doesn't make sense, it's not good enough for a song, Cal." Luke tossed the paper into the trash.

Calum stood up. Ashton grabbed him.

"Don't freak Cal, Luke's just upset because Gillian's way out of his limit!" All 3 boys laughed.

Luke looked at Ashton with a big grin on his face. "Ash, you are a genius!" Luke grabbed Ash's face and kissed his cheek then raced to find a pen.

"Am I missing something?" Ashton chuckled.

"You're just a little bit outta my limit..." Luke sang looking at the guys. Calum smiled.

"It's been two years now," He paused and looked at Ashton, then smiled. "you haven't even seen the best of me!"

"And in my mind now, I've been over this a thousand times," Mandy sang from the door. Luke smiled at her.

"You're writing a song about the girl down the street?" Michael commented.  Mandy gave him a dumb look and walked out. "What?!"

" Guys, I think this could be a good song! We just gotta pu- "

"So... this is a song about the girl down the street?" Micheal asked, cutting off Luke.

Calum threw a drumstick at him. "Yeah, now shut up."

"Doesn't she have a boyfriend though?"

Luke's face went blank at the sound of Michael's comment. Calum motioned for Michael to shut up but he kept going.

"I see her walking with that lad from biology everyday. they kiss and stuff too."

Luke stared at Michael. Michael gave Luke a little smiling not knowing that Luke had already fallen in love with her the same way Ashton had fallen in love with Olivia. Gillian was dating Luke but they were closer than ever. Gillian was always there for Luke and Luke was there for her.

Tears filled Luke's eyes as he started to remember that Gillian was dating that guy. She talked about him like he put the stars in the sky.

Calum grabbed his cell and dialed up Gillian number.

"Hey Cal, What's up?" She answered cheerfully.

"You got a boyfriend?" Calm asked, his voice filling with rage. He hated when Luke was sad and wasn't going to let her ruin Luke.

" What do you- " Luke hung up the phone.

"If she actually is dating him, I don't wanna know." Luke said grabbing the notebook and writing more stuff on the paper.

Mandy came down the stairs. "Pizza is here ya nerds. " She looked at Luke. Calum shook his head 'no' and she turned away to leave.

"Let's go eat, man." Ashton said putting his hand on Luke's shoulder. "Food is good and pizza is better."

Michael looked at Ashton. "Are you implying that pizza isn't food?"

Luke chuckled. "I'll be up in a sec. I'm almost done here."

The boys all filled up the stairs and left Luke sitting on the floor.

"I got it boys! The song is done!" Luke yelled bursting into the kitchen. His smile faded when he saw Gillian sitting at the counter next to Mandy.

Gillian smiled. "Hey Luke,"

Luke turned away and walked back downstairs. The boys followed him.

"Luke man, that was harsh." Calum said turning Luke around.

Luke was smiling. "I can't let her heard the song, now can I?"

The boys laughed and went to their instruments. It was time to play.
