~:Roseheart's P.O.V:~
As the birds were chirping and tweeting the sun slowly and silently rose to its height. The sun's rays kissed me awake, tickling my fresh skin. I woke up on my bed made of rose buds. I had this rose on my bed that my dad has put there on the first day of sleeping alone, no mother or no father beside me and he said it'll protect me. I've always sensed something magical with this rose; when I wake up it blooms and when I got to sleep it closes. Weird, I know but it somehow made me feel special. After I got dressed and wore my favorite rose head band, I went down stairs where my beloved ones were.
"Good morning, sweetheart." My parents said in one voice.
"Good morning mom, Good morning dad."
"Ready for school?" My dad said. I sighed when my dad asked me that question.. I wasn't really ready for school, I mean it's my first day of my senior year and I'm nearly 17. First day of school, gotta look good, says most girls, but I didn't really care what people thought of me.
"I guess you're not ready. Sorry for asking."
"It's OK dad. Well, I better hurry so I won't miss first class"
"OK, Good luck. Love you." My mom said.
My school was located out of the village I lived in, I lived in a village that lies in a peaceful Kingdom called 'Kingdom Of The Coyote Gourd'. It was simple and peaceful, it had my best friend, my mom and dad which is all I needed.. and education of course. On my way to school, I met up with my best friend, Alina.
"Hey Rose, what's up?"
"Not much, what about you?"
"Walking to school, duh."
"No way, me too."
I started hearing a melody coming out of no where, it was a sweet melody that I've dreamt of before but how would it come here? I asked Alina if she heard the same melody but she said that I'm just hallucinating or recalling. I mean, that could be possible. We arrived at the gates of the school, our school wasn't that much of a fancy school as we lived in the poor side of town but it was no big of a deal. In maths period, I fell asleep. I blacked out and it seemed like I was in a whole new world. In some place I didn't know but what I did know is that I was floating in thin air and I was controlling myself.
I saw some sort of light glowing in blue light. I didn't know what kind of this dream was, was it a sign or was it a vision. "Follow me, Roseheart. Don't question anything, just follow me." I followed the wisp as it ordered me to, we went to a castle's window. I saw a little girl being born but that girl didn't cry like any other child which was weird. Scenes changed, we were in a cave with glowing rose in the middle and almost the same child flowing in that lake and going back to it's parent. Another scene change and I found myself in a room with a head cut off on the ground and a dead woman on the bed. I just stood there with my jaw almost falling to the ground at the scene of the dead woman and the head that's lying on the ground. Not long after, I was waked by my maths teacher. She wasn't used to me falling asleep in class so she knew something was wrong with me and sent me to the nurse to give me a check up.
"You're fine Rose, you're really healthy."
"Well, thanks."
I held myself together and ran off to the back yard of the school. It had roses, it had tulips, it had almost every single flower was there but it wasn't blooming season yet. I went over to peek at a tulip and as soon as I touched it, it bloomed. I backed out little and accidentally touched a rose and a few other flowers in the bushes while trying to keep my balance. I fell on my side and when I stood, I found that they blossomed.
"W-what? How?"
"Guys! Oh my, I think it's Roseheart. Come come!" Voice #1
"Mother of all flowers. Where did she come from?" Voice #2
"It's her! Oh my God. That's her! She's alive" Voice #3
"Wh-Who's saying that?"
"Us!" Voice 1, 2 and 3 all said together. The voices were flowers, I didn't know I could speak flower or even flowers talk and all I did was just stand there with my eyes widened.
"What, speaking flowers? What the heck?"
"Oh we're sorry. We forgot to introduce ourselves.."
"You sure did? How the hell.. How can I speak flower? Do they even talk? I must be losing my mind. Yes, that's it. I'm losing my mind, first day of school huh. Cursed, usual.. Senior year. Yup, I'm going coo-coo"
"No, no you're not. I'm Tulip, that's Rose and she's Jasmine. We're real."
"Wait. Does she know-" Tulip said
"She can speak to-" Rose said
"Flowers?!" Jasmine said
"Of course not! How could I know that?!"
"Forget you talked to us." Tulip, Rose and Jasmine all said in one voice and slowly closed. There were so many things that my mind couldn't handle at the moment and I fainted on the ground and the next thing I know is that I woke up on my bed, at home with Alina on my side.
