Harry's P.O.V~
I drove the whole way home with a smile on my face. I like Chloe. I really do even though I know she doesn't feel the same way I hope one day she might. I only live 20 minutes away and I know when I got in I'll be bombarded with questions from my sister Gemma and Mum. They both worry about me too much, all they do is fuss about me when that's my job. I'm supposed to fuss about them being the man of the house. My douchebag of a father left years ago. If I ever met that man I'd beat him so bad. He's a shit dad. Always was and always will be. My hands clench the wheel at the thought of him. "You have to calm down Harry!" I tell myself breathing slowly through my nose. "Gem and Mum can't see you like this." I pull into my driveway and turn off the engine. I can see Gemma and Mum painting the sitting room. They love this new place especially Gemma she gets her own room now something we never had before. I hop out and close the door with a bang. I walk slowly up the stairs to the front door and unlocked it with my key. "Harry?" Mum called and walked out of the sitting room and to the hall. "Ah Harry you're finally home!" she said pulling me in for a hug. Gemma stood behind her and smiled at me "Hey Kiddo" she said before ruffling my hair. Gemma worried alot. She worried about everyone, she always thinks the worst and is always worried about me. "So how was school?" Mum asked while walking back into the sitting room. I followed after her and sat on the nearby chair. "Fine" I shrugged trying to sound uninterested in my school day. "Make friends?" Gemma asked sitting down on the armrest of the chair. "Eh yeah I guess I did" I could feel a smile begin to grow on my lips thinking about Chloe. "What's that smile about?" Gemma asked beaming at me before poking me in the arm with her finger. "Nothin" I said brushing her hand away. "I'll leave you two talk I'll be finishing off dinner" Mum said before leaving me alone with Gemma. "Okay spill it Harry" she said turning around to face me. "Spill what?" I asked trying to sound innocent. "Don't bullshit me, you met someone, you made a friend. Tell me now." Gemma said getting annoyed that I wouldn't tell her anything. "If you must know I did make a friend." Gemma smiled and nodded for me to continue. "She's very nice -" "wait what? SHE?" she cut me off a huge grin on her face. "You made a friend and she's a girl?" she asked. "Yeah problem?" I asked back. What's her problem? Does she think I can't be friends with a girl? "Do you like her?" she asks watching me closely. "As a friend? Yeah sure." I said looking around the room to try to seem tired of this conversation. "You like her more than a friend Harry I can see it. You know you can't bullshit me and I know for a fact you're into her. Her name?" I pulled out my phone and unlocked it going on to Facebook. Maybe Gemma might now get the hint I'm done talking. "Name?!" she spoke harshly trying to grab my phone from my hand. "If you so badly need to know its Chloe okay. "[ She's a friend. End of discussion, im tired and I need to start homework okay?" I push myself off the seat and walk out of the room and head upstairs to attempt the homework we were assigned today.
Chloe's P.O.V~
There is so much work to be done for classes tomorrow. The teachers must think we have no lives. I open my English book and attempt to read it. It was coming close to half nine and I am getting tired of study. I decide to quit homework and watch telly instead "Stuff it" I say shoving my books into my bag again. I walk out of my room and to the living room. Being home alone has its benefits at times. I could watch as much of the Americas Next Top Model series as I wanted and nobody could argue against it. But most of the time it was pretty lonely. Mam worked two jobs, anything to not be at home. She didn't like the fact dad was away so kept herself busy. I know they are drifting apart and I can't help but feel it's my fault. Dad works in Australia, hes gone 2 years now with only a phone call now and again. I get all the sympathy presents and guilty money every week from them both. Both feeling guilty they leave me all alone. I flick through the channels hoping something decent is on when I feel my phone vibrate beside me. *One New Message* it read. I unlock it and read who it is from.
