"What? Anything strange?" Alice repeated. On the other end of the phone, Tino held the phone to his ears.
"Yes, did anything strange to you last night?"
"No, I was having dinner with Alfred when a storm hit. Is something wrong?"
"No, Allison was just concerned," he lied.
"Well, I'm grateful that you called to check."
Alice hung up the phone. Tino sighed. Something was wrong and he felt it.
Allison sat at the table, waiting for Berwald to get her breakfast. "Was that Alice?" Allison asked.
"Yes, she said she was fine."
Allison looked down. "I never asked how she was doing."
Berwald and Tino looked at Allison, then at each other. Berwald lifted Allison out of the chair and held her up. He mumbled something, and Allison nodded. She then replied in Swedish. Tino scratched his head. What was so important that they couldn't say it in English? It was something only Berwald figured out.
Lukas and Emil came down stairs, and Emil was followed by his puffin. "Good morning, Allison," he said. "How did you sleep last night?"
"I had a strange dream. Someone was poisoned, another was strangled, and one was shot in front of me."
Tino, Emil, and Lukas widened their eyes. That was a horrifying nightmare. Only Berwald could speak. "Who was it?"
Allison held her hair and chin, then her tummy and pretended she was eating, and finally held an imaginary box and gave it to Berwald. Tino, Emil, and Lukas stared, confused. What was she trying to say, and why couldn't she say names?
Allison looked at Emil, and held her arms up, she wanted him to carry her. Emil lifted her by the waist, and held her in his arms. For someone only nine days old, she seemed very calm about her nightmare. Emil looked at Allison, and looked into her eyes. In her eyes, he saw someone very familiar to him. Allison reached up and touched Emil's face.
"Did you see them?" she whispered in his ear.
Emil could only nod. If he said anything, he feared he would cry right there in front roof everyone.
Tino and Norway looked at each other. Only Berwald and Emil understood and saw what they couldn't.
Time Skip
Emil rocked Allison in his arms, the little child had quickly fallen asleep after the strange morning. There was a knock on the door. "Tino, can you get that?" Emil asked.
Tino stood up, and placed his book on the table. He opened the door, and in the doorway, a child stood there.
"Hello, Peter."
"Good day, Mr. Finland. I came just like you asked."
"Yes, would you mind watching Allison during the today's world meeting?" Tino pointed to Emil.
Peter's eyes lit up. "Are you serious?" He asked with excitement.
"Would you like to see her?"
Peter nodded. Tino took his hand, and led him to Emil and Allison.
"She's so small," Peter whispered. "How old is she?"
"Nine days."
"Nine days? Wow!"
Allison's eyes fluttered open. Her eyes met Peter's, and she smiled. Peter wanted to look away, but that would be rude. Allison reminded Peter of a princess. A tiny princess. Allison thought the same, Peter reminded him of a prince. Peter blushed, and kissed her hand.
