This is a bday present for my lovely friend @Taylor_page.

Unedited- and will be so until I completely finish the story.

Venus was shocked at the size of the town. She expected to be moving into a much larger location, much like her town back at home, which had a lot more things and people there than here. "I thought we were moving to a town! Not a village," Venus complained, annoyed at their new location.  It was quite disappointing after being excited to see where they would be living.  She was expecting a place, like, an almost city!  Not a village, stars.

"Venus, I've told you it wouldn't be a big area, did you just stop listening after I said we were moving?" Her mom asked, turned around in the front seat so she could see her daughter. Venus rolled her eyes and hunched down in her seat, not bothering to reply to the question. "I'll take that as a yes. We'll be at our new house in about five minutes and from what I've seen, it's something to be quite excited about."

"It really is, a two story house with a basement, and a forest for miles," Venus dad enthusiastically commented. Venus perked up a little, the details of their mysterious house finally coming to light.  Her siblings, Apollo and Artemis perked up at the mention of the house and turned to one another and begun conversion of all the things they could do with a forest.  Venus listened with a smile, their creative ideas sometimes causing her to chuckle.

"I'mma make a tree house, Dad! It'll have stairs, and a patio and connect to other tree houses!" Apollo exclaimed, allowing the rest of the family to be in on the conversation.

Venus grinned and poked her brother's tummy, "Oh, yeah? And how're you gonna manage that?"

"We're gonna sell lemonade all summer to buy everything we need," Apollo's twin sister, Artemis, piped in. Venus hummed and rubbed her chin in thought. Artemis grinned, "I'm gonna sell my muffins too."

"Smart," Venus said, "What do you say parents? Muffins and lemonade for a treehouse?" Artemis and Apollo turned their focus from Venus to their parents. Her mom chuckled.

"We'll see how well it goes with the neighbors," she said, "Before all that though, we have to get settled."

"Of course, and once that's done, I'll help you guys make muffins," Their dad said. Artemis and Apollo cheered and began to talk with each other about all their plans for the new house. Venus idly listened, now more focused on what they were driving past than her sibling's conversation. They were slowly driving away from the town and into a neighborhood that was slowly, but surely merging into the forest that surrounded them.

Venus may not like the fact that they were now living in what she considered a village and that she was leaving all her friends behind, but she was still excited to be going to a new place and even meeting new people. It was an exciting prospect, and hell, she might even meet a cute boy here.  Well, that is if she can even talk to him.

And anyways, she wasn't saying there weren't any cute boys back in her old town, she just didn't find any of them particularly interesting. Venus perked up when they pulled into a driveway, looking up at the house they would be staying in from now on. It was gorgeous, two stories and cabin styled. It was a surprising aspect, since Venus assumed that kind of style must've cost a fortune.

"How'd we afford this?" Venus wondered. She opened the car door and hopped out. Her dad came around and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "There was a good deal on this house. The landlord even lowered the price more and even let us use a moving service for free. Hence the lack of a moving truck."
