Chapter 2: Milk conundrum

Authors note: Sorry for all the typos in the last chapter. Sorry if it wasn't good. I'm new to this. hope you enjoy.

"hey have you...-oh" Leonard said coming in.
"sshhhh, Amy's sleeping". Sheldon said.
"yeah I see that, um do you have milk?" Leonard asked, noticing Sheldon playing with Amy's hair as she lay on his lap. "yeah, in the fridge. take it. bring it back please. but knock." Sheldon said as Leonard went to the fridge.
"Yeah will do. Thanks. And I'll knock. See ya" Leonard said grabbing the door.
"Goodbye" Sheldon said.

"here's the milk"Leonard said passing it to Penny. "never guess what I saw."
"What?" Penny said on her iPad.
"Amy was sleeping on Sheldons lap and he was playing with her hair!"
"shut the front door! you never! oh my god! shamy!"
"I know it's amazing but very weird. I'm happy their relationship is progressing though."
"yeah same, Amy will tell me about it at girls night probably" penny said getting up to pour the milk into the teas. "yeah, and you'd better tell me about it if she does."
"yeah of course." Penny said handing Leonard a tea. They watched a movie for about an hour or so then Leonard said "I'll go give the milk back now"
"okay" penny said.

A few minutes after Leonard left Amy woke up. She slowly opened her eyes and saw Sheldon above her. "oh you're awake!" Sheldon said.
"oh I feel asleep, sorry. oh sorry I was on your lap. do you want to go have a shower?" she asked. "oh no that's fine. why would I need a shower?"
"because of the bacteria and germs" Amy said, still laying on his lap.
"no that's fine, don't worry about that. didn't we kiss earlier?". He replied so that wasn't a dream . Sheldon started playing with his fingers. Amy noticed. "you okay?" she asked.
"yeah I'm fine."
"you sure?"
"no."
"what's wrong?"
There was a silence.
"what's wrong?" she repeated.
I want to kiss you again. I want to tell you I love you but I'm so nervous. I want you to live with me permantly. I want to marry you, I want to have children with you. but I'm scared. I'm so scared. scared that I'll change.
"I don't know". Amy sat up next to him, slightly leaning on him. She took his hand and started playing with his fingers. "no!"
"no?"
"I need to terminate the relationship agreement."
"is this because of earlier?" she asked.
"no well yes. well partly. I just can't do this."
"cant do what?"
"us. I can't be your boyfriend"
"why not?" she said as tears started to well in her eyes.
"no don't cry."
"I can't help it. what did I do wrong!?"
"no it's not you Amy it's me." that's so clique well done Sheldon
"what's wrong?"
"Amy. ever since I met you. you've distracted me. I've been distracted ever since. I can never get work done and I'm constantly thinking of you and I can't control it, as shown earlier."
"Sheldon that's normal. it's okay."
"no, stop saying it's okay. it's not. How will I ever win a Nobel with you here!?" Sheldon said increasing the volume of his voice. Amy burst into tears. "no amy-i errr" Sheldon stammered out. "I'm going out"
"no don't go." Sheldon said as Amy ran out the door. Sheldon went after her.

Leonard opened his door. why is Amy crying? why is Sheldon running after her? what happened? He was holding the milk. "put it in the fridge" Sheldon said.
"what happened?" Leonard asked, but Sheldon was already at the 2nd floor whilst Amy at the first. Leonard ran in an put the milk in the fridge and ran over to Penny. "Amy was running, crying down the stairs and sheldon was running after her." Leonard blurted out. "oh my god what happened?"
"I don't know, he was already down by the time I asked."
"I have to go after her"
"no don't. don't get Involved."
"oh okay. They were okay an hour ago though"
"yeah well that's like us. remember our wedding day?"
"that's different. this is shamy"
"we don't know what goes on behind closed doors."
"ewwww I don't want to think about that thanks."
"sorry"

Amy ran out of the building, the tears pouring from her face. Sheldon cares more about his Novel prize than me. He wants to break up. after we had that amazing kiss. we're just moving in together too. She ran to her car and jumped in. Sheldon ran after her and quickly got in the passenger seat before she started up the car. "sheldom get out of my car"
"let me explain please Amy."
"Sheldon I --" but she couldn't get the words out. She just cried and cried. Sheldon got out. wait he actually left me? but he was on the other side and opened Amy's door. Not knowing Leonard and penny were watching from the window. Sheldon put out his hand and took and she got out and stood beside him. "can we sit somewhere?" Sheldon said. "there is nowhere to sit" Amy sniffled. "let's just lean against your car then"
"okay" Amy said
"you can sit" Sheldon lifted Amy onto the boner of her car whilst he leaned against it. Amy whimpered a little. "Amy stop!" he hated seeing her like this. "why! you want to break up with me!" Leonard and penny saw Amy shout. "I wonder what he did" penny said. "we should stop looking." Leonard said. but neither moved.

"I don't want to."
"then why did you say it!?" Amy questioned.
"because..because I was scared"
"scared of what?"
"everything"
"vague."
"Amy..im scared that you're changing me. And my life."
"is that bad or good?"
"I don't know..i feel things."
"what things?"
"I don't know. I can't explain."
"okay then I'm leaving. I can't deal with this Sheldon" she said hopping off the car.
oh no Leonard whispered. She went to her car door, they were now in direct sight of penny and Leonard. Sheldon grabbed her hand. "I can explain. I'm just scared to admit everything."
"just try. try Sheldon. don't be scared it's only me"
only you? your Amy Farrah Fowler. How can I not be scared?
"first of all of like to start of by saying you are far more important than my nobel however it is important too. I was just angry and it came out that way. it's just you distract me and I'm afraid I won't get enough work done."
Amy blushed a little "you distract me too Sheldon but I'm sure we can control it if we try"
"okay I'll try. Also Amy..i need to tell you something. but I'm scared."
"don't be. it's okay. if you're thinking about it then you clearly want to say it." She said as he took her hands below their waists. "THEY'RE HOLDING HANDS" penny shouted. Leonard smiled
"i just want you to know that I do not want to terminate our relationship. I just said that because I was afraid. afraid of change. However I now realise that change is good" he said shyly smiling. She smiled back. "also" he said clearing his throat "I....i want you to know that...that You're the most beautiful woman I've ever met...mentally and physically. I'm attracted to all of it and I...i want you to know that I...that I..um. i want you to know that I love you Amy" he finally said looking at the ground. did he just say the L word? Amy hugged him and he rested his chin on her head. penny and Leonard cheered. "I love you too" she said and sheldon grinned. He let go and said "also I need to say well do something else"
he leaned down and kissed her on the lips, so gently. but then again involving a quick slip of the tongue. "oh my they kissed!" Leonard and penny both exclaimed
"one more thing..id like to get rid of the relationship agreement" Amy pushed him back. "what no! why?"
"oh no what did he do" Leonard said
"I've realised a relationship can't be structured. you can't have a perfect relationship so I'm going to get rid of it. I believe it is for the best. date night will still be on Thursday. as for today. and kissed can be given everyday as I've also realised I enjoy those too" Amy grinned. "What're you smiling at?" Sheldon asked.
"you, silly"
"why?"
"because you're so adorable. "come here" she said as he ushered closer oh I loved when she complimented me. it makes my insides fuzzy. "yeah" he said lightly. She kissed his nose and whispered "I love you so much Sheldon. please don't ever leave"
"I won't Amy. I promise you okay. can I kiss you again?" she nodded. Sheldon leant down and placed his lips on hers, he was getting the hang of her rhythm. nervously he slipped his tongue in and enjoyed as when she did the same. it lasted about 15 seconds and Sheldons lips had become slightly swollen. Penny and Leonard looked away when they kissed. "you taste good" Sheldon said biting his lip. Amy smiled. "you smell good" she replied with. "thank you" Sheldon said. Amy's phone alarm rang. "oh it's 10pm date night is over" should I ask her to stay? "oh it's 10pm" Leonard said
"date night is over" penny finished.

"Well thank you Sheldon. I'll text you when  I get home." He nodded. should i ask? is it too late? or maybe she can stay later and I can drive her home. after all I do have my license however nobody knows hmmm.
Amy had just started her car. "Amy wait!!" he shouted. She stopped her car and rolled the window down. "would you like to stay for a bit longer? and I can drive you home. I have my license".
