Amy and her friends were on a campout at Mosquito Lake. Their tent was right on the lake.Amy was in the the middle of a story when a branch snapped. "What was that?" Brook whispered." I don't know." Amy said. Paige grabbed the flashlight and turned it on. She shined it where they heard the noise.They heard something that sounded like a hoarse,sreechy growl.
They saw something bony and pale flash through the trees. It went faster than when you can clap your hands 2×. Tabitha jumped out of the chair with a gasp. "OMG," She said. "...what was that!?" Amy and Paige didn't know what to say. "Maybe it's a Rake.A creature who is bony,terrifying and killer.It is skinny like a rake. That's how it got it's name."Brook said. Tabitha whimpered softly but didn't say anything. She was way to scared to say anything.
They heard another growl and it was louder. " I think were in it's territory and it wants us to leave." Paige said. " I'm not leaving. I paid 50 dollars to get the best camp site here." Amy said. "Let's get in the RV where we'll be safe." Tabitha said already running toward the RV. The growling was getting louder and closer.It was coming for them. Amy,Brook and Paige grabbed all their stuff as quickly as possible and ran for the RV. The creature jumped out of the trees!It was pale,bony and it's fingers were so long it had to walk with an arched back and walked on it's long,pointy fingers and legs. The girls screamed at the same time! "Hurry!Get in the RV!!HUUUUURRY!!!!!"Tabitha screamed.The girls jumped in the RV and slammed the door.
"Lock the doors and windows. Close the vents and use something to barricade them." Amy screamed. They all double locked the doors and windows.They barricaded the vents and the windows so the creature wouldn't break the windows. Tabitha sat in a chair huddled in a blanket shivering and murmuring to herself. "This is not real.It's just a bad dream."
"I'll go make some hot cocoa." Brook said. Paige went to grab some extra blankets. Amy sat down and tried comforting Tabitha. Paige put the blankets on a chair and sat down. Brook passed out hot cocoa. "How about a movie?"Amy said. "Wizard of Oz please." Tabitha said.
"Bang!Bang!" Something was banging on the door. "It's the Rake!" Tabitha screamed hiding in the blanket. "Amy it's me Josh and the guys!" Amy ran toward the door and opened it. She pulled the guys in the RV. She slammed the door and locked it after looking outside quickly
"Josh! What are you doing here!" Amy said. "Me and the guys were bored." Josh said. Paige was hugging Peter tightly.Brook was being hugged by Nick. Tabitha and and Jason just sat down. "Let's make s'mores" Josh said. "No!" Amy screamed. "Why?" Josh said. "The Rake is out there."Brook said. Josh and the guys laughed. "I got a picture of it look!" Tabitha said.
The guys staredat each other. Just then "Sreeech!" Everyone looked out the window. "It's the Rake!" Amy said. Just then the Rake saw them. It screamed horribly. It pounced at the window. Everyone screamed!
