Rajveer-Naina - The Sudden Moment of Confession

Part 8

Yes, there he stands, her Rajveer sir, right in front of her, after days, which seems like forever, she has finally seen him again.

With teary eyes, Naina stares at Raj whose eyes are blazing with anger as he is beating the man up terribly.

"Rajveer sir"

she whispers slowly as fresh tears starts to take place in her eyes. Right now, seeing Raj in front of her is the most beautiful thing for her. She doesn't need anything else at this moment, she just wants to take him in her embrace.

Hearing his own name from her mouth diverts Raj's attention towards Naina. He immediately stops beating the man up and stares at Naina, his eyes filled with tears.

"Naina"

he says her name softly in order to assure her that he is actually here and that she is not dreaming.

His heart clenches as he looks at her from top to bottom. Her entire body is full of bruises, her clothes are half ripped off, her nose which is bleeding, her face is full of marks, which are due to punches. They have tortured his Naina so much and he couldn't do anything. He won't leave those people who have hurt her to this extent.

Staring him throughout, her eyes full of tears, she tries to stand up and walk towards him.

He sees how she is having a hard time standing up due to her condition. Not being able to see her like this, he immediately rushes towards her and pulls her in his embrace.

Her head feels heavy and her sight is becoming fuzzy. The room around her is losing its brightness and falling dark around his body. Her vision is like a tunnel now and he is standing in the middle. Everything around her is gone, and all she could think to do is to hug the only person still left. Is he really here? Reaching her hand out, she grazes her fingers against his right arm, they don't fall through the air, they brush across his fair soft skin. Looking up at him, she feels melted, he is here, with her. Like a surge of electricity flows through her as she feels her arms go up and wrap behind his neck, her cheek rest on his shoulder.

"aap..aap hain mere sath"

she whispers softly, sobbing, stating the fact that he is actually here.

She acknowledges the feel of his arms around her torso and his hands resting on her back are enough. The warmth venting from his body is a proof of him being here.

The pain in her voice tells Raj everything, the pain she went through, the fear she felt of losing him.

"Mein hoon tumhare sath Naina, hamesha! Kuch nahi hone dunga mein tumhe"

as Raj utters these words, another lone of tear escapes from his eyes. He makes his grip around her all the more tight, as of assuring himself that she is actually here with him. Finally, he found his Naina!

"Sir, please mujhe yahan se door apne sath le jaiye. Ye log...ye log mere sath...mere sath..."

she couldn't complete her words and bursts out into loud sobs. The pain in Naina's voice hurts Raj all the more. At this, reality drowns upon him as he realises what that man was about to do with her. If he didn't reach here on time, Naina would have been through the worst thing.

Breaking the hug, he looks towards her. Wiping her tears away, he cups her cheeks with his palms.

"Kuch nahi hoga tumhe Naina, mein tumhe kuch hone nahi dunga"
