Seo Changbin didn't wear a uniform, just a black hoodie and ripped jeans, with a smile that looked like his face was about to split in two. His hair was pitch black, he was doe-eyed and despite the almost black colour, they shone like nothing else Felix had ever seen. His nose was average-sized but scrunched up in confusion and his chin was pointed, jaw angular.
Lee Felix felt like the clock was ticking three times faster than before. His gaze suggested he felt the boy radiated light and beauty and he couldn't disagree; he was the most attractive person Felix had ever seen. An angel, to give the cliché momentum.
His lips started to move and form words, Felix's cliché smashing, a daydream turning back to reality.
"You know I'd usually take the staring as an insult, but I see something's wrong little one, You okay?" Changbin asked in concern, head tilted like a dog and an unexpected soft edge on his voice. Felix spluttered incoherent sounds, as he stood staring at the attractive man in front of him, tears rushing back into his eyes, as he finally mumbled an "S-sorry."
Changbin looked even more concerned, taking a step forward, wrapping his arms around the taller boy, pulling him into his chest. The action made Felix sob further, vibrations heading straight into Changbin's chest, as Changbin mumbled positive thoughts into Felix's ear. Drying up a bit and still sniffling, Felix raised his head, speechless again. Was this good luck, meeting Changbin, who had to be the most attractive person he had the pleasure of visualising. His alluring eyes drew him in, and his rogue actions were that of a friend, Felix concluding he couldn't be real.
But the situation was still occurring, Felix deciding to speak up as he took the order from Changbin's hands, contemplating another apology before shaking his head instead.
"I haven't seen you before. Are you new to the shop?"
"Uncle Jinyoung is looking for staff at the moment so I'm helping him out for the moment." He shrugged nonchalantly, hands in his pockets as if he hadn't just embraced the crying boy."I'm sorry about that. I'm Felix Lee."
"I know." He smiled. "But a foreign name- where are you from?"
"Oh, I'm from Australia. I just moved here a few months ago."
"Can I have your phone a second please?"
"Why?" Felix still handed it over.
"I think you might need a little bit more support than you think you do. You might need my number for that. Plus it gives me an excuse to ask you on a date."Felix felt like he was on fire, bright red and struggling for words.
"See you around Felix." The sound of Changbin closing the door stirred him once again from his cliché. He walked into the living room, still dazed from the experience.
"So the new delivery guy eh? Seo Changbin. How is he? Cute?" Chan spoke up from the couch, already back to matchmaking for his fellow Aussie.
"Cute would be an understatement. He's definitely hot."
"Felix. You sound like you're gonna get married already."
"Hey, Chan. Want to shut up please?"
"Sure Seo Felix." Chan teased.
"Sometimes I want to kill you."
And with that Felix jumped to attack Chan, before remembering there was chicken to eat, deciding it was much more important right now.
