Emma was sprawled out on the worn out grey sofa in her older brothers apartment, stuffing her face with sweets and chocolates, her eyes glued to the screen as the opening titles of her favourite show appeared.
*DING*
"Someone get the door", her voice boomed throughout the apartment however she was met with silence. Her brothers were either to into their video games to hear the door bell or they were just simply ignoring it. Groaning she rose from her mountain of empty sweet wrappers and stumbled lazily towards the door.
Upon opening the door she was met with the last person she wanted to see right now.
"What do you want KJ', she demanded sternly.
"I wanted to come and apologise for how I acted the other day", his voice sounding so light and sincere. He also ignored the fact she had only called him KJ and not the usual Keneti.
"You mean when you stuck up for Camilla and not me", her eyebrows raised as her tone became harsh at the end.
The red head gazed down at his torn up converse, he took a deep breath before returning his attention to the impatient girl in front of him.
"Look I know I screwed up and I'm such a shitty boyfriend for even going against you, you were telling me something that really bothered you and upset you and I completely ignored how much you needed me and just sided with Cami and I'll be forever sorry for that, but please Emma don't shut me out, I don't wanna loose you especially when I've only just got you", the girls cold stare softened after looking into his glossy eyes.
She never wanted to make KJ upset but he needed to feel how she felt over the past few days, the utter torture and paranoia she has experienced from his betrayal. Her constantly feeling that she wasn't good enough for KJ and that Camilla was. Her wondering what was so special about Camilla that made KJ throw away the loyalty he was meant to carry with their relationship.
"Why", came her only response.
"Why what", the confusion was evident in his voice.
"Why did you find it so hard to believe that Camilla had a thing for you"
A smile broke out onto his pale face, causing the girl to feel a sense of anger as this certainly wasn't the time for jokes or laughter.
"Because, ever since I've been with you, I haven't focused on anything else but you, whatever signs Cami might have been giving me, I wouldn't have pick up on them because why would I focus on her when I got you, Emma, I got the girl I've always dreamed off, you're to special to me, I wouldn't throw that all away for someone who I will only ever see as a friend".
By the end of KJ's heartfelt speech, Emma could feel the tears fall down her bare face. As she went to wipe the tears away she was too late as KJ had already reached up to wipe them away keeping his eyes locked on hers.
"Please forgive me Em, I've made the biggest mistake of my life but I promise you it won't be made again ever", there was no way she could let him leave without forgiving him, he'd just told her everything she's ever wanted to hear from him, she needed to forgive him not just for his sake but for her own, she deserved happiness too, after her parents passed away she had always pretended she was happy but what she had with KJ was pure happiness, it wasn't forced, it was real, she knew there would be ups and downs but that's what makes it worth it in the end, she knew that KJ was worth it.
"I forgive you", she lightly whispered looking up at him with a small but genuine smile.
He didn't need to hear anything else, he pulled her into a bone crushing hug before pulling away and crashing his chapped lips onto her plumps ones. They pulled away to the sound of loud clapping and cheering coming from the living room of the apartment, they looked to see Issac and Mason laughing and smiling at the couple.
"That was beautiful, I should have recorded that", Mason loudly whispered wiping a fake tear from his eye.
Issac strolled up to the pair who had now fully entered the apartment and had shut the door.
"That was definitely something, no ones ever fought to win my sister back like that, they usually just give up and leave but not you, you came here without being told and that just proves that you're great for my little sister, welcome to the family man", Issac gently patting him on the back before disappearing into his room.
KJ turned slowly to look down at Emma who gazed at him with a smirk.
"He loves you"
"Thank god, I thought he never would"
Mason slowly walked up to the two.
"Oh and by the way, I 100% heard the door bell but i knew it would be KJ so erm yeah I made this happen, you're welcome", he too then disappeared into his room, leaving the two alone to laugh loudly at the younger boy.
