Annabeth Chase is the demigod representing pride. After all, her fatal flaw is hubris. Hubris is deadly pride or arrogance. She explains to Percy in The Sea of Monsters that she sometimes thinks she could rebuild the world better than the gods, get her parents back together (Frederick Chase and Athena), build great monuments, and save Luke Castellan (her childhood friend, who eventually rebelled against the gods and hosted Kronos, the Titan King).
Annabeth's fatal flaw and deadly sin is when she is against the Sphinx, and she is forced to answer several questions from her at random in The Battle of the Labyrinth. However, none are riddles, just spontaneous trivia. She demands a true ultimatum of her acumen, and the Sphinx attacks her.
In The Mark of Athena, Annabeth's hubris causes her to mock Arachne after the spider-woman had already been captured. However, her insult to Arachne lead the Mother of Spiders to flagellate around. Because of this, the floor of her lair cracks and breaks, ultimately causing Annabeth, Percy, and Arachne to be thrown into Tartarus.
Annabeth also only slightly can represent the deadly sin of greed, as she is very possessive and hoarding of Percy. In The Battle of the Labyrinth, she says to the crowd, "He was probably the bravest friend I ever had.". This is in response to the belief that Percy was dead. But when Percy comes out of the forest, she figures out he was regaining strength on Calypso's island, Ogygia. She then calls him the "single most annoying person I've ever met!".
