*Crash*
"Ah, Shit!" You cursed as the plate crashed to the ground into a million pieces.
"(Yyyy/nnnnnnnn)!" Penguin whined. "That's the third plate you've dropped, and it hasn't even been 5 minutes!"
"I'm sorry! I swear I'm not usually this much of a wreck!" You picked up the dustpan and broom, and swept up the sharp shards.
"What's with all the racket in here?" Law walked into the room with an annoyed expression. You cringed as Shachi and Penguin pointed at you. "Ah... I-I'm sorry, captain.. I dropped a few plates, but not on purpose!"
He sighed and looked down at your miserable self, crouching on the ground and attempting to get the ceramic pieces off the floor.
"How many did you break?"
"....Three.."
He shifted his gaze to Shachi and Penguin.
"Why would you leave her in charge of setting the table after she broke the first two?"
"She insisted on it!"
He pinched the bridge of his nose. "Just clean it up. Buy more plates when we arrive on the next island." he turned and left the kitchen. You finished collecting the sharp pieces of ceramic and stood up, heading over to the trash can. You flipped it open and dumped the shards into it. "I'll finish the table.." Penguin reluctantly stopped cleaning pots and pans and went to get more plates. You took his place at the sink. "Try not to break anything" Shachi mocked teasingly. You huffed and grabbed the sponge, scrubbing the food off of the pan you were working on. After it was clean, you took a rag and dried it, leaving it out because after you finished with this, you would help cook. You repeated this process until the sink was empty. You let out a relieved sigh. "So.... what are we going to make?" You turned to Shachi. He hummed in thought. "How about... Takoyaki, with some rice?" You perked up. "That sounds good!"
"I don't think we can trust (y/n) with cooking anything, though..." Penguin mumbled to Shachi. "Hey..! I lived on my own for three years, I know how to cook! The plates were different.." you protested.
Penguin reluctantly let you cook the rice.
You poured water into the pot and waited for it to boil, putting some salt in it. You then put the uncooked rice in the pot, stirring it with a wooden spoon to separate them from each other. You tapped the spoon against the pot to get the water off and placed it on the counter next to you. You grabbed a lid and put it on the top of the pot.
You sighed and leaned against the counter. You looked around the kitchen, trying to find something interesting since it would take about 20 minutes for the rice to be finished. After a minute of scanning the room, you sighed, defeated. "Is there something I can do while I wait for this to cook?" You looked over at Penguin and Shachi.
They shrugged.
"You'd break something"
"I only broke three plates and now you think I'm a god of chaos!"
"Don't want to take any chances"
Growling and muttering Satan's curses at them, you hopped up and sat on the counter, watching the rice from a higher angle. You stared intently at the steaming pot, occasionally glancing up at the clock, hoping it would go faster. You impatiently drummed your fingers on the counter. Looking back at the clock, the rice needed to cook for 10 more minutes.
*Time skip*
Finally the rice was ready. You turned off the stove and opened the lid of the pot. You took a fork and fluffed it around with a fork. Huffing in relief, you placed it on a cool spot on the stove. "How's the takoyaki doing?"
"Oh, they've been done for a while. Is the rice done?"
"Yeah, just finished it."
"Nice, go get the rest of the crew."
You called the crew over and they served themselves, you grabbed your portion and sat down a few seats away from everyone, being the socially awkward person you are. Once you were done, you washed your plate and put it in the drying rack, and did the same with everyone else's plates once they were done. Feeling satisfied with yourself, you strolled out of the kitchen, but was stopped as you bumped into something hard. Panicking, your eyes shot up to the tall figure. "C-captain! Sorry!"
"Be careful." He looked down at you for a moment before brushing past you. You sped walked to your room, grumbling to yourself.
*Time skip*
"(Y/n)!"
You stopped outside your door, and your eyes settled on where the voice came from, Bepo. "Yes?"
"I forgot to show you around earlier... is now a good time?"
'Ohh, I forgot about that...'
"Y-Yeah, sorry, I forgot too. Now's fine."
He led you around the submarine, showing you each and every corner and crevice onboard. By the end of it your legs ached and you just wanted to go to sleep.
"That's everything..." he finished
"Thank you... do you know when the next island is coming up?"
"Yes, your island was pretty close to another one, so we should be there by tomorrow."
You nodded and sighed happily. You just wanted to get out and fly for a bit.
"Thanks again, Bepo. I'm going to go to sleep now... goodnight."
"Oh, goodnight, (y/n)."
You headed back towards what you thought the direction your room was in, each step draining more and more energy from your tired body. Your thoughts began to wander and you ended up somewhere not even close to your room. "Shit... where am I again? Damn, I wish I paid more attention..." you growled and turned a corner, hoping that you'd just find the way. You  dragged yourself along, turning corner after corner, but you just seemed to be walking in a circle.
"(Y/n)-ya, I've seen you walk around this area about 4 times. Where are you trying to go?" Your captain called to you from a nearby couch, snapping his book shut.
"Ahh.. I can't find my room..." your gaze fell onto your feet, embarrassed that you had been caught. He sighed and stood up, placing his book down and walked toward you, the floorboards creaking under his boots. You glanced over to him, his black hair was messy under his hat. He lifted his hand and uttered 'room', and a large blue circle formed and grew under his fingers. It consumed you and you looked back at him in alarm. He shook his head.
"Shambles."
Your surroundings suddenly changed and you fell onto your bed. You stared wide eyed at the ceiling. "Woah..." you murmured, and turned over. 'I'll thank him later...' You curled up under your blanket and relaxed, waiting for sleep to overcome you.

Holy hell that took too long
I'm sorry
