"Ami!" A yell from quite afar was heard as Amaris walked her way to school. Amaris turned to see her friend, Nicole, running towards her with arms outstretched and latched herself onto Amaris.

"Good morning to you, too, Nicole, Yumi," Amaris nodded her head to Yumi's direction as she walked to them. Nicole's flame red hair was a mess, with curls blown by the wind here and there, one would definitely know she ran and didn't bother to fix it. She fixed her eyes on Amaris who smiled with her white teeth showing.

"Oh, you are just too cute!" Nicole exclaimed, tightening her arms around the poor Amaris as she was squashed into her friend's chest.

"That's enough, Nicole, you're suffocating her," Yumi deadpanned as Nicole dejectedly let go of her precious, precious Ami. With a pout on her lips, they walked side by side to their school.

Bellmare Village High is the only high school in their town where most students are from the same town and some are intimately close, such as their families being friends. Bellmare Town is a town where everyone knows anyone, news travel fast in the fairly large area of the town. Anyone is welcome to come in and out of the town but are deeply rooted to the ancestral land. The town isn't like any worn, abandoned town where people leave to live in the city and only old locals who lived there for a long time stayed, in fact the town is full of life and lovely people. Everyone who lives there wishes for a peaceful environment and get what they wanted.

"So, Ami," Nicole started, looking at Yumi and Ami in a mischievous way, gripping the straps of her backpack tighter. "Have you heard?"

Amaris and Yumi looked at each other then back at Nicole, asking what she was meaning to say and to which Nicole replied, "We have new neighbors! They just moved two days ago and I heard that they're a gorgeous family!" Nicole gushed. "And guess what?"

The two raised their eyebrows to tell her to go on. Nicole smiled widely and threw her hands up in the air, "They have three kids and one is transferring to our school and I heard they were hot!" Nicole suppressed her squeal, hugging herself to avoid squishing the living daylights out of her cute Ami.

"Really?" Yumi asked with disinterest while Amaris was wide eyed. She hasn't really met anyone new yet, other than her current friends, since they are particularly new in town as well. They moved a few months ago, at the second semester of her 10th grade. Her doctors suggested that her family should move to an environment with clean air and free of hazard for the sake of Amaris' health. Her asthma was getting better thanks to her treatment but she needs to continue her medication on a place where she can have tranquil and peace without fuss.

"Yeah! I can't wait to see them at school," Nicole smiled widely at her two friends. "We can use some new friends, don't you think, Ami?" Nicole wiggled her eyebrows at Amaris making the platinum blond-haired girl blush a slight pink and nodded.

"Or ask them if they're single," Yumi inserted as she smirked at her red-haired friend, her own charcoal black hair in a black ponytail blown by the cold autumn wind of their own East Town weather.

"Hey! I'm not that much of a flirt," Nicole pouted again, making her friends laugh at her antics. The three turned the corner just in time for a sleek silver car to pass them and straight to their school.

"Hey, do you know anyone who owns such an expensive looking car at school?" Yumi asked her two friends as their eyes followed the car drive away with mouths hanging open with awe. The locals of the town were mostly simple people, so you don't see such extravagant things often, some are well off but chose the simplicity offered by the town and lived by that. It's quite obvious that the owner of the car was from the city and didn't mind showing off.
