Matthew Espinosa SWEET

I jumped onto the couch and turned on the TV. My favorite show Modern Family had a new episode that I recorded, and I really want to watch it. I turned it on and heard a ring on the doorbell. It was weird because it is a monday night and I didn't order ant pizza. I slid off the couch and paused the recording.

I opened the door to see my close friend from school Matthew Espinosa.

"Hey" he said in a shy voice.

"Hey, what's up?" I said back.

"Come inside." I said as well motioning him to come inside.

"Uhh, well I have something to tell you, and I can't really wait till tomorrow to tell you." He said with a shaky nervous voice.

"Well, Alright., what is it?"

"Um well I kind of have a really big crush on you." He said.

"Are you serious?" I responded.

"Yeah." He said.

"Well I kind of have a really big crush on you too." I said laughing a little while blushing.

"Do you maybe wanna go on a date sometime?" He asked me.

"Yeah, I would really love that." I said as I put my hair behind my ear.

He then leaned over and kissed me on the lips lightly. I kissed him back, being that I have had a huge crush on him for a while. I blushed when he broke the kiss. We looked at each other in the eyes for a second.

"I gotta go" He said walking backwards towards the door.

I watched him walk out the door and he looked back at me, and I blew him a kiss and he caught it. He shut the door and I blushed and a huge smile came across my face. I couldn't stop smiling, I let out a huge sigh as I fell back onto the couch.

That had really just happened, me and Matt were finally dating, after my years of flirting with him. I got out my phone and texted my best friend Gabriella.

'Hey Ri, Guess what?' I texted her.

"Ummm idk" She texted me.

'Guess!'

"You got a puppy?"

'Nooo'

"What is it then?"

'Matt asked me out on a date!!!'

"Oh my God, about time."

'Ikr'

I walked upstairs to my room and sat down on my window seat. I looked up the stars and smiled. I was filled with so much happiness at this point in my life. I heard my phone buzz and vibrate, it was a call from Matt, I picked up right away almost dropping my phone because I was grabbing it so fast.

"Hey (Y/N)" He said in a sexy voice.

'Well hello Matthew Lee Espinosa' I said back in the same tone.

"So how about that dinner?"

'I would love to make that happen'

"I would too"

At this point all I wanted to do was cuddle in his arms, and kiss him and just call him my own.

'Matt, wanna come over now?'

"Of coarse, i'll be over in 5"

'K cool, luv you'

"luvvv you too"

He hung up the phone, I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and got into a cute comfy outfit. I did my makeup and brushed my hair. I looked into the mirror and thought, wow this is actually happening.

I heard a ring on the doorbell, and practically ran down the stairs. I missed a step but thankfully I caught myself. I opened up the door to see Matt, looking beautiful as ever.

"What's up?" Matt said.

'Nothin wanna chill' I responded.

"Yeah, I think we could make that happen."

'Wanna go upstairsss'

"Sure"

'Yay lets go'

I held his hands and led him up the steps. We both walked together hand in hand to my room. I opened up the door and sat on my bed.

'We should read a book'

"What book?"

'I don't know, you pick'

I showed him where my huge bookcase was. I walked over to my record player and put on a Frank Sinatra record. I turned off the lights, just leaving my fairy lights to shine. I looked back and Matt was still looking at the books.

"I love this one" He said with a sweet smile on his face.

'I do too, that's my favorite book of all time.'

I walked over to my king sized bed and laid down on my back.

"You okay?" He asked me concerned.

'Yeah, I'm just really tired.'

"You should get under the covers and lay your head on your pillows"

He moved the covers down and lifted me placing me just in the spot where he could put them over me.

'Come lay with me' I said while moving the covers so he could come under.

He looked me in the eyes, he looked like he loved me. Matt then slowly got under the covers. I laid towards him as he propped his head against my pillows.

I laid my head on his chest just in the right spot so that I could hear his heartbeat. In that moment everything was perfect. I felt so safe and warm in his arms. With the dimmed lights and Frank singing in the background.

"I love you (Y/N)"

'I love you too Matthew' I said almost whispering.

I said that as I drifted to a deep sleep, it was all so perfect.

I feel like this was kinda unrealistic and short but idk they will get better.
