Shawn Mendes/ Matthew Espinosa SWEET

*****CHLOES PERSPECTIVE****

"Hey when are you coming over?" Matt (Espinosa) said over the phone.

"Umm, I guess at 7." I said back to him.

"Okay, Chloe i'll see you then." He responded. 

"Byeeeee." I said.

"Byeee." Matt said as we hung up.

Me and Matt had a thing between us, I think more of it as a friendship though, it was cute but i'm not sure that I would comit. He was pretty cute though, I will admit to that. Sometimes we hang out and cuddle and watch movies, but he has never asked me on a date or even kissed me.

I got ready, took a shower. I put on my white stripped t-shirt dress from brandy melville, a pair of black matte doc martens with black knee high socks My dark brown hair was in curls, I put on a little bit of make up. And of coarse since it was a pool party, I put on my white triangle bikini underneath.

I grabbed a banana and my beach bag and hopped in my car. On my way to Matt's I turned on the radio and a song by a boy named "Shawn Mendes" came on. Man it was catchy, I think Matt is friends with him but i'm not 100% sure. Dang he had a good voice, I sang along for a while, and turned into Matt's driveway.

I grabbed my bag and stepped out of my car. I was right on time. I walked up to his front door and rang the door bell, I heard foot steps and laughing. Matt opened up the door and said.

"Hey Chloe, come on in. You don't have to ring the doorbell, just come on in"  

"Hey Matt, what's up." I said as I hugged him for a good 5 seconds.

"Nothin much just got some people you outta meet." He said as we walked towards the voices in the backyard.

They were all sitting down on the beach chairs. 

"Hey, i'm Chloe." I said as I waved to them.

"Hey." They all said at the same time, I smiled.

"Matt brought a girl I see." One of the boys said.

"Yup, I did" Matt said as he wrapped his arms around my waist from behind.

I may or may not have blushed. 

"Sorry about them" he whispered in my ear and let go.

"Okay so this here is Jack G., Jack J., Shawn, Cam, Nash, and Carter." He said as he pointed at them indivualy. 

When I locked eyes with each of them, I soon remebered all their names.

I sat down in the chair between Shawn and Cam. The sun was setting and it was actually really pretty. We all had conversations about pizza toppings, video games and music. It started to get dark out. We ate chips and dip while music blasted.

It was about 8pm and Matt walked over to the fire pit and lit it. He went inside and grabbed the stuff to make smores and brought it over to the pit.

"Let's go" Shawn said as grabbed my hand and picked me up, and led me over to the fire pit. I couldn't stop smiling, Shawn was just so cute. 

We sat on the patio, I sat next to Shawn, we both got really close to each other. We shared a stick.

''Okay so i'm going to teach you how to make the PERFECT smore" Shawn said to me smiling.

Wow his smile could light up a whole room.

"Show me." I said smiling back,.

Shawn wrapped his arms around my back and grabbed my hands. The marshmellow was on the stick and he was holding the stick over the fire with my hands. I looked up at him smiling without my mouth, and just looked into hid eyes. His eyes were lighting up from the fire. He was just so beautiful.

*****MATTS PERSPECTIVE****

I looked over at Chloe to see her in the arms of Shawn, my heart dropped. That should be me played in my head.

I looked away and went over to Cam, when i approached him and said in a nervous voice.

"Uhhh Cam, can I talk to you for a minute?" I said as I had my hand on my neck.

"Yeah man" Cam said as he stod up. "What's up?" He said in a concerned voice.

I led him away from the others.

"So I kind of have feelings for Chloe, and I'm freaking out because she is over there with Shawn. I said while pacing.

"Does she know how you feel?' Cameron asked.

"No... I never told her." I said on the verge of crying, I looked up to hold back the tears.

"Well that doesn't help much. Wanna go inside?" Cam asked.

"What if he makes a move? I really like her Cameron." I responded.

"Then why don't we get everyone to go in the pool." Cam said.

"Okay, let's do that then." I said back.

****CHLOES PERSPECTIVE*****

Shawn looked back at me, and we both just stared into each others eyes for a minute. It was such a sweet loving moment. I looked back at the marshmellow to see it on fire.

"Well Shit, the marshmelow died" I said at the ruined marshmellow. We both laughed.

"It can still be good, flaws and all" Shawn said as he blew out the burnt marshmellow.

"Here" Shawn said as he handed me the gramhm cracker and chocolate.

"Thanks" I said as I put it together. 

"You want it?" I said laughing at the pathetic smore.

"No, you have it." He said back at me laughing.

"We can share." I said as I dipped my finger in the smores marshmellow and put it on shawns nose.

I started laughing really hard. and we both fell back. On the ground we both looked at the stars.

"Wow you're pretty." Shawn said.

"You mean the stars?" I asked him.

"No, you." He said. I looked over at him looking back at me. I softly smiled. 

"Anyone wanna go in the pool?!" Matt called.

"Let's go"  I said to Shawn as I stood up and grabbed his hands and pulled him up. We walked back over to the table and I took off my socks and shoes. I took of my dress, when I pulled it off my head I noticed they were all looking at me. It was awkward and flattering at the same time. It was if they'd never seen a girl in a bikini before.

I put my dress in my bag and Matt walked over to me.

"Hey Chloe." He said.

"Hey Matt." I responded.

"Ready to go." He asked.

"Yeah" I said as he grabbed my hand a led me towards the pool.

Let me just say his backyard was gorgeous, it had an amazing view of LA, and it was night time. The moon was out, and the pool had lights. Night swimming at its finest. There were also glow sticks in the pool making it look so good. The music was blasting and wow it was just beautiful.

Well this one was kind of lame, but my hands hurt from typing and its already 1200 words. I was add more to this story soon, but yeah i think its decent so far. Starting highschool tomorrow, im a freshman so thats fun i guess. this is to be continued so yeah. enjoy this for now
