~Maggie’s POV~

Wow! He cheated on me with my identical twin sister? That’s just low... Maggie said to herself as she sat on the porch swing overlooking the land her family owned. Just yesterday, she was so in love with Devin, and then that night he changed it all, while she was in the same house. She just couldn’t believe that her own sister was so....heartless.

But, she needed to move on. Devin was just one of many fish in her sea, and any man would be lucky to have the heiress to a Fortune 500 company on their arm. Thinking that boosted her confidence, so much in fact that she stood up, brushed the wrinkles off of her shirt and went inside. She saw that Devin was sitting on the couch...Alone! Watching ESPN. She couldn’t be in the same room as him without tearing up right now, so she just went upstairs. When she passed, she saw her mother talking to Macy. She gave Macy a little “city finger” as her mom called it or the ‘middle finger’ for others.  Macy looked at her and closed the door before Maggie could give her any more of her mind. Maggie walked with no strut, no smile.... no confidence.

She finally reached her room and slammed the door so hard, that she heard things rattle downstairs. She didn’t care that Devin was downstairs. She didn't care that she was throwing a tantrum, was she just supposed to sit back and let it be fine that her sister and ex had been hooking up, who knows how many times, while she was dating him!?! She wasn’t fine about that and she was going to make sure that everyone knew that. She just went over to her loveseat and dug her head in a pillow. She picked up her head a few minutes later and saw that there was huge mascara stains on her pillow.

Knock Knock! “Hey Mag, I uh....uhmm can I come in?” Maggie just felt like she was a glacier and if she got any consolement she was going to melt very fast. “Look Macy, I really don’t want to see you, let alone talk to you or get any consolement or excuses. Ok, I just can’t believe that my “best friend since birth” basically, would hurt me so much? I really liked Devin, and for you to just go hook up with him, really isn’t cool, so I apologize, but I am going to have to decline that proposition.” Maggie wanted to sound as calm as normal, but seeing that this problem was so...personal, she couldn’t. Thankfully, Macy understood and left before she heard her sister break down crying again.

A few hours later, Maggie was up and getting ready. She got a last minute invite to an all exclusive party in the city. This was going to be the time that maybe she could forget about Devin, at least for a few hours. Ring Ring! Maggie picked up, “Hey girl! So, we gonna party hard tonight or what!? Maybe so vodka, guys, you know...the whole package!” Maggie couldn’t believe that was on the top of her mind at the moment. “Hey Mags, well I am so psyched about this party! I mean we are gonna be in the same room as some celebrities! It’ll rock!!” Maggie just smiled and hung up. She put on her tightest dress. It was a Valentino dress, but it was short and cute. She grabbed a pair of black heels, put her red lipstick on and she finally straightened her blond hair. “Perfect! Now while Macy and Devin have their fun, I’ll be having mine.” Maggie smirked to herself as she got into her white mercedes.

Arriving there was a total star treatment. There was paparazzi, celebrities, drunk girls taking shots and selfies. Maggie felt older and mature when she was there. “Oh my! Is that....Miss Maggie DeRusse! Well, you have been out of the spotlight for a little while, but this will sure draw some attention to you!” Maggie listened to a photographer from People Magazine. Maggie just smiled at the lady’s eagerness. She walked inside until she saw a familiar face. “Brookie! Hi, a lot of papz out there, huh?” Maggie said to her +1 inviter, Brooke Klein, daughter to the famous designer, Calvin Klein. “Hey Maggie! I didn’t think you would be here, considering the obvi.” Brooke hugged Maggie, and then Maggie went to explore the club.
