Stanton
I am carrying Imogen. One arm behind her knees, the other behind her neck. Her hair falls everywhere in a wavy, frizzy mess. I am running. Ollie is running too, mascara down her face. Dylan in the back, on the phone with Mr. or Mrs. May. I'm guessing Mr., because Mrs. would panic too much. Think the worst. She seems to grow heavy as we run up the ramp and through the faded, red automatic doors of the emergency room. I can't even see Dylan and Ollie. "I need a doctor!" I yell, feeling the own desperation in my voice. "A nurse says things I tune out, and pulls a bed up. I try to set her down gently, but she flops up. Ollie is now visible.
The nurse speaks, shouting. "I need one of you. Some one whom she discusses everything with. Since there is no family, alert the family." Dylan nods, gesturing to his phone. I couldn't go, I don't know enough. I notice not Ollie is squeezing the life out of Im's leather jacket. "I'll go." she says. I grab her wrist as she struts away." Keep me posted. I'll be here. Take care of her."
