lavender is the prettiest color, to me.
it's such a light and delicate color, and it looks good on everyone and everything.

it was picture day, and boy did i love picture day.
it was the day i could dress up, and have a reasonable excuse for it.
i wore a white button up shirt with a lavender tie,
lavender.
i looked good, and so did you.
coincidentally, you wore a lavender dress, your hair curled and makeup done.
you looked like you belonged to a family of fairies.
we looked like we belonged hand in hand at a dance of some sort.
but, that's not going to happen,
unless you notice my lavender tie!
