She stares in her mirror every morning as you see her drown in her own tears,
She is caged in her own body that she's been ashamed of for years,
She scrolls through her social media unleashing her greatest fear,
She is cutting down the calories as her daily ritual which she could easily adhere. She shines down the corridors catching glances from people who idolise her completion,
She beams with confidence and portrays fulfilment which is a misconception,
She daily experiences jealousy as other girls glare at her creating a form of tension,
She wears simple clothing which fits her like a model from Victoria secret did I mention. She pinched her waistline sighing ever so gently as she doesn't like what appears,
She wishes all her imperfections could simply all just disappear,
She feels that smallest of her blemishes could be spotted leaving her looking mere,
She ignores all the reassurance she may capture that is contradicting even from a peer. She walks past a modelling agency everyday that acquires a competition,
She strides so fast the judges can't even get her name which leaves complication,
She admires girls who enter but doesn't know none of them win without the slightest hesitation,
She wishes she could enter but doesn't feel she's confident enough to hold a conversation. She spreads her make-up on like a mask hoping she makes the higher tier,
She knows that she is capable but doesn't believe her has the gear,
She feels is she could lose a few pounds she could be the slightest bit near,
She dreams of being beautiful but no you're not good enough is all she'll ever hear.Everyone else would convey otherwise,
Only if she saw herself with someone else's eyes,
When the toughest boys see her they all get the butterflies,
When she's seen parading around school everyones eyes rise,
Thinking 'seems like a goddess sent from the skies, I hope she doesn't think otherwise'.
