Chapter 9

Olivia's POV

Today is Saturday so I didn't have to wake up super early but today was the day I went on my date with Cameron. I just can't believe he actually asked me on a date. It took me forever to decide what to wear but I finally decided on a white flowly tank top that said 'Forget the rules. If you like it wear it.' Blue fades skinny jeans with purple high top converse. Then I put my hair in a messy braided bun. I decided I wanted my nails done so I called Hayley, Angelica, and Andrea and asked if they wanted to go to the salon an get our nails done. Of course Andrea said no but Hayley and Angelica quickly agreed. We decided it would be best if we met up there.

"Mom, can I go to the salon with Hayley an Angelica.?" I asked running down stairs.

"Sure honey. Do you need money?" She asks.

"Yeah." I lied just because I wanted my nails to be special and not some boring color.

She handed me fifty dollars and I took the keys and left. They salon was only ten minutes away so I didn't do much on the ride there. When I arrived I met Angelica and Hayley in the front and we all walked in together.

"Hello, how may we help you young ladies today.?" The short Asian lady who looked about thirty three or so said.

"We need to get our nails done." Angelica told the lady.

"Is there any specific way you want them done.?" She asks us.

"I want black with purple stripes." Hayley said admiring her nails.

"I want black with M.E. for Matthew Espinosa." Angelica said getting super excited.

"I want the galaxy nails." I said and admired some of their work.

They set us down in a circular table and start on our nails.

"Olivia.? Is that you.?" A lady's voice said from behind me.

"Oh hi, Mrs.Reynolds." I said turning my head but not my body.

"What are you doing her today she said going behind the lady doing my nails.

"We are getting our nails done. Nothing special." I said and smiled at what the lady had done so far.

"Well you have fun. I'll see you Wednesday." She said and walked away.

The remainder at the salon was laughing at random things or just watching the ladies carefully. After our nails were done I said bye to the girls and went to my car.

Text to Cameron❤: what time is the date.

Text from Cameron❤: I'll see you around 6:30. I'll pick you up.

Text to Cameron❤: okay see you in an hour.

Yep it was already five thirty. The salon took up a lot of my time an the fact I don't wake up and get fully motivated till two fifteen.

Cameron's POV

I was taking Olivia to go watch The Fault In Our Stars. Call me cheesy but she said she wanted to see it so I thought it would be the perfect date. I tried not to go all put like she had requested. I just really like her and I don't want to fuck everything up. The time said 6:25 so I grabbed my stuff and headed to her house to pick her up. When I got there she was already siting on the porch waiting for me.

"Hey Cameron.!" She said, excitement full in her eyes.

"Are you ready.?" I asked putting and arm across her waist and walk to the car with her. I open the car door for her and shut it. I run to the drivers side and start the ignition. The movies was 15 minutes away.

(Boring car ride. Music and talking and laughing. That's nice.)

We arrived there around 6:45. We got our and I laced my hand with hers. She seems to enjoy it because she looked at our hands and smiled.

"Two tickets for The Fault In Our Stars." I said, paying the lady and walk to the concession stands still holding her hand.

We got our popcorn and drinks and went into the theater we were told to o in.

Olivia's POV

This was all to perfect. I told Cameron two months ago I wanted to see this movie and he still remember.

(Watch movie. *don't wanna be a spoiler for some people*)

We left the movie theaters and sat in Cameron's car.

"Thanks Cameron." I said, and look at him in complete awe.

"No, thank you for giving me this chance" He said and grabbed my hand.

I sighed and looked at our hands. It sucks were aren't officially together. It would be great to call him mine. He could be everything I ever wanted. I think he is stressed out about what Nash would do.

"Hey, what's wrong.?" He said poking my thigh.

"Nothing." I said, closing my eyes and shaking my head.

Then all of a sudden I feel a pair of warm, soft lips on mine. This is probably like the millionth time we kissed but every time he surprises me. The kiss didn't stay passionate long though. We deepened the kiss. None of our kisses have gotten to this point so I didn't know what to do and pulled away but slowly so of don't seem like I don't like him. Cause I do. Oh dear lawrd I do.

"Olivia.? Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks which made me basically choke on air.

"W-what about Nash.?" I asked shocked up from the question.

"It doesn't matter what he wants. We aren't his puppets. We can't be in fear if him. Then he wins and tell us we aren't suitable for each other." He said and let out a heavy breath.

"Yes." I said and smiled.

"I like you . A lot." He said, kissed me and drove me back home.

When I got home I went straight to my room and grouped messaged Hayley, Angelica, and Andrea to tell them the news. We talked for an hour before I told them.

Me: guys.....Cameron and I are official.

Angelica: Finally.! I've been dying everyday waiting for that news.!

Hayley: oh mahhhh Gersh.! That's amazing.

Andrea: finally.!

Me: yep well I'm gonna go to bed good night.

I changed into my pjs and closed my eyes. I had a good day today. For once I felt. Important.
