"Niall you need to get up, we need to leave in an hour."

Today was the big day.

The day when Niall is going to the X-Factor and audition.

We've been rehearsing his song for months now just to make sure its right.

But the lazy bum I have of a brother wont get up out of bed.

"Niiiiiallllll! If you don't get up now, I will eat all the breakfast mum made for us."

And with that being said, Niall quickly jumps out of bed.

"Don't you dare touch my food Y/N!" He shouts at me.

I giggle and run out of the room.

He chases after me until I am holding my fork above his food.

"Y/N. Don't do it. If you do, you'll regret it very much," He hissed while eyeing my fork.

I laugh and drop the fork on the table.

"There you go big brother. Have at it," I say as I smile and watch Niall eye the food hungrily.

I then head to my room and find my favorite outfit, which consists of a bright blue belly shirt and dark blue ripped skinny jeans.

As I am going over to the bathroom, I see Niall in a plaid shirt and some loose jeans.

"Looking sharp Ni," I say to my brother as he smooths out some wrinkles.

"Thanks Y/N." He says while concentrating.

Now, let me tell you that Niall and I have always been the closest siblings.

Sure, my oldest brother, Greg, and I are close but not as close as Niall and I.

Maybe it's because Niall and I are a less than a year apart and not eight years apart like Greg and I.

Anyways, Niall and I have done everything together since I was born.

From the ages of three and two, we would always hold concerts for our parents.

Now here we are at 17 and 16 getting ready to go to the X-Factor.

I love to sing like my brother but I prefer all of the behind the scenes stuff.

After 30 minutes of getting ready and taking pictures, we finally leave our small home.

When we get there, we have to wait in a long line to then get Niall's audition number.

I can tell that my brother is getting more and more nervous as we get closer to the front of the line so I put my hand on his shoulder for comfort.

Finally, we reach the front of the line and a lady that looks at be in her 20's calls us up.

"So, who is auditioning today?' She kindly asks.

"I am," Niall says nervously.

The lady smiles and hand him a sticker with the numbers 232677.

Niall says thank you as she smiles and we all walk away.

When we get to the waiting area, I put on Niall's sticker so it's not crooked.

As we sit down, I can faintly hear Niall singing his auditions peace.

"Ni, everything will be fine. You'll rock it out there! Trust me." I say while looking into his bright blue eyes that are filled with worry.
