Niall's Sister, Louis' Lover

I stand nervously on the wings of the stage watching my older brother perform and talk with the judges.

He did fantastic on his song now all of the judges are talking to him about it.

I got really nervous when Simon starts ed talking because everyone knows how he can be brutally honest with contestants.

I was relieved when he said good things along with the others judges.

When they started to vote, I could tell my brother was starting to get really nervous again.

When a judge said yes, Niall would get excited and look over at me with the biggest smile.

But as soon as Katy said no, his smile dropped and he glanced at me before turning his attention back at her.

I could feel anger bubbling up inside.

Even though I am his younger sister, I still protect him as if he was younger.

After the crowd finished their booing at Katy, the last judge said their yes which means that he made it and was moving on!

I couldn't hold in my excitement and tears streamed down my cheeks.

After Niall said his "Thank you"'s, he started to run towards me so I started to run towards him.

We finally met and threw ourselves at each other in a hug.

After a few seconds, we lead each other in the direction of our mum.

After we got over to her she came into our hug and the three of us are in one big group hug.

We start to walk away when I recognized a new face.

It was Louis' face I see watching us with a small smile.

"Hey Ni? I think I left something in the restroom. Mind if I go and check real quick?"

Niall looks over at mum and she nods her head.

"Erm sure. Do you want me to go with you Y/N?"

I smile at him while saying, "You don't need to come. I'm a big girl now ya know."

He returns the smile and tells me where him and mum are going to be.

I nod and head over the restrooms but as soon as I am out of their sight, I whip my phone out to text Louis.

Y/N : hey Louis! meet me by the restrooms :)

Louis:) : on my way! :)

I wait not even three minutes when Louis walks up.

"Hey Louis!" I flash a smile at the boy.

"Hey Y/N! You wanted to meet?" He returns the smile.

I start to play with my necklace, a thing that I only do when I am nervous.

"Yeah I did. I just wanted to tell you good luck with your performance one last time."

He rubs the back of his neck and smiles.

"Thanks but you know, you could have just texted me."

"Yeah I know but I thought it would mean more if I told you face to face."

We both laugh and stare at each other.

I break the silence with saying, "Erm I gotta go. My brother and mum are waiting for me. But text me with how it goes."

He smiles and says, "Yeah me too. Will do Y/N. Will do."

We both part ways but glance back at each other and smile before turning and walking away completely.

Y/N : awe dont miss me too much :(

I'm smiling at my phone when I get to Niall and my mum.

"Whatcha smilin' at?" Niall asks with a cheeky smile plastered on his face.

"Some texts. That's all." I reply still looking down at my phone.

I can feel Niall shifting to look over my shoulder.

I press the power button to turn the phone off.

"What are ya trying to do Ni?" I say in a serious tone.

Niall backs off a bit and says, "I just wanted to see what you were looking at. Geez."

I put my phone back in my pocket and put my arm around him.

There are no words to describe how great today was.

First my big brother made it on the X-Factor and then I met a fairly attractive boy that is now friends with me.

I don't think anything could be better than this.
