Queen of Shadows

Chapter 5

Once I arrive to school there wasn't a living soul in sight. Darn it I am late. I run towards first period.

After running by several hallways I made it, I grab the doorknob and try to open the wooden door separating me from a full classroom that will stare at me as I make my entrance, but it wouldnt budge. I knock on the door and wait. Too or three minutes pass and I knock again harder this time.

Still no response. I look inside the classroom window and see that the room was completely empty. Why would it be empty? wait. Ah crap I forgot to day was the fieldtrip to the rival high school.

Today there was gonna be this big thing where our rivals "the other high school" and this school go to a big park and do a sort of tournament between classes.  I know its stupid but I was looking forward to it. They would see what school was better by doing games.

I look to my right then to my left. A dark figure is walking this direction in the distance. Good I am not the only one that got left behind. I wait for the mysterious person to get closer but then the figure split into three.

They're eyes where flamy red literally glowing, they're hands began to change into paws with gigantic claws, and each where a different colors. The one in the middle was a dark purple to the left a blood red and to the right pure black.They began to run at me with they're hands flapping back as if they where made of plastic and where being dragged.

Oh no. I start running for my life in the opposite direction. Dont look back. Dont look back. I squint my eyes as I run holding back tears. I am too slow for them. I can here the scrapping and banging on lockers caused by there arms flying everywhere.

I open my eyes to be greeted by the automatic doors that for some reason didnt open on time and get my face slammed into the glass causing it to shatter. I fall back onto the floor and slowly grow unconscious. The last thing I saw was black fog growing from the distance.
