I froze.Theo had his head buried in my pillow as if he was inhaling the scent of it and looked like he was holding onto it for dear life.
A tornado of emotions swirl inside of me as I stare at his sleeping figure. He looks different but the same.
Seeing him like this reminds me of all of the great memories we had together. All of the times he would hold me when we slept. He looks peaceful and I feel my heart tug wanting to climb in next to him and snuggle close, inhaling his scent.
I take a deep breath and push all of them emotions to the back of my mind. That was then, this is now and so much has changed.
I walk up to my bed and rip the covers off him. I gently push him with some force which startles him awake. He looks unaware of his surroundings for a second before his eyes land on mine.
Amusement swirled in his eyes as he realised what he had done.
"Hey" his voice was husky snd memories threatened to spill.
"What do you think you are doing?" I spat
"Sleeping" a smirk slipped onto his face.
"I see that idiot, but do it in your own bed. Your not welcome here anymore" his face dropped as my harsh words.
" Thea, I'm really so-"
"Enough!" I hissed.
He sighed and climbed off my bed. He stretched causing his shirt to rise and I saw the band of his underwear. I advert my eyes and re-make my bed. Once I have made the pillows straight I turn around and see him opening draws.
He opens the draw to my underwear and pulls out a lacy lingerie set.
"Damn" he groans as he looks at me with dark eyes. This side of him hasn't changed much.
I scowl and snatch it off him, placing it back inside my draw.
"I want you to gone by the time I'm out of the bathroom" I said angrily pointing my finger at him.
I slammed the bathroom door shut and rested my hands onto the sink and stared at my reflection in the mirror. My eyes glistened with unshed tears. My face looked almost as worn out and exhausted as I felt.
I turned the shower on and let the scalding hot water trickle down my body. Steam clouded my vision and my body relaxed a little. After a while I switched the shower off and wrapped a white, fluffy towel around my body. I brushed my teeth and then my towel dried my hair until it was slightly damp.
I exit the bathroom and become startled.
Theo still hadn't left.
He had somehow found my box. The box that I kept hidden right at the back of my bed where it would sit in the darkness gathering dust. The box is filled with everything that I wanted to lock away and forget, like my old life and the old me.
