"We're here." Says my father before parking in the large space in front of our new home.
While my father opens the house, my mother and I go down and unload the van. I go into the living room, small but cozy: a three-seater sofa in satin is placed at the center of the room, and in front of it, there is a coffee table black glass. Still later, a few steps from the coffee table is a bookcase in mahogany. Rest for a few minutes staring at it: there are many of my favorite books, now eyed "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen.
On the other side of the room there are three steps leading to the kitchen, next to it, a spiral staircase that leads upstairs. Infuse right, I see a small room: the bathroom. "Honey, your father and I have downloaded your boxes. Begins to take over." She tells me, and I obey.
I climb the stairs that overlook a large hall covered by a long carpet. On the walls, three large windows overlooking the garden. I walk the endless corridor in search of my room, when I suddenly appears in front of a mahogany wood, I decided to open it, here it is: the pale blue walls and a large window that overlooks the white house of our neighbors. At the center of the room a large bed, covered with sheets with floral designs, just in front of the TV and read a mirror. Support the boxes on the floor and undo them.
I spend the whole day arranging my things, I go down for dinner only.
I was wanting to feel so normal. From tomorrow for sure everything will change again. After dinner I go back to my room to go to sleep, I must be informed for the first day of school.

The alarm goes off, but my body doesn’t really want to know to get up. My father is probably already gone to work, while my mother must be in the kitchen.
"Mitchie? Wake up, get up or you'll be late on your first day." she shouts to me from the kitchen. "There, there, I got up."
I go to the bathroom and get ready, then go down to make a quick breakfast of cereal and milk.
I arrive at school just in time for the meeting with the dean. A man in his forties I think, all dressed up in a suit and tie. I leave my mother at the entrance to follow:
"So, Miss Lockwood I had a look at her resume, has excellent grades in school."
"Thank you Mr. Blue." I smile. He doesn’t want to accompany me in class, right? I hate the first day of school, especially when you're new, and you have to stand up and introduce yourself to the class. Here, I wasn’t mistaken, is about to knock. And he knocks announcing to the class:
"Goodmorning guys, Miss Brooks, I wanted to welcome you to our new student that will go with you the rest of the year: Miss Lockwood?" He calls me, encouraging me to enter the room, I do it, a hint of a smile and a greeting from novice shameful. The students don’t respond. Wow, wasn’t that bad eh Mitch? says my subconscious. Now run spun to a place, sit back and pretend nothing, adds and I obey. After the first wave of class, I rushed into the hall, rivers of people rushing to the cafeteria, I'd go too, if only I knew where it is.
In all that mess, I end up on a girl. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, really." She looks at me and smiles to me. A cascade of blond hair down to below the shoulders. Full lips and blue eyes, who knows how many claimants will have. "Don’t worry, uh Mitchie, right?" "Ehm, yes… but how do you know?" "Nice to meet you, I’m Isabella, Bella for friends. I was in the class of Miss Brooks this morning. Want to come to lunch with us?" offers me. Behind her other guys, his friends probably. I agree, what could go wrong?
I feel a tense atmosphere as soon as I cross the door, a guy is lying on the ground, bleeding. Another is instead held by three boys.
"Don’t you dare never to approach her." he says. "Or you'll regret it, I swear you will regret. And you let me fuck." Rants against the guys who keep him. He’s free, and is about to rage against that guy again, I decide to instinctively get in the way, "STOP!" I scream to him. He looks me up from head to toe, and I swear that I feel seriously embarrassed, but no matter. "And stop staring at me." I continue. I don’t like have his eyes on me, it’s like I'm helpless and I couldn’t defend myself. Then finally opens his mouth, "What have we here?" He looks at me for a few seconds then move on to look at the boy lying on the floor. "But Zayn, you didn’t tell me that you had a fairy godmother." He smiles. "Stop it, you idiot." I can’t stand. "You'd better go." I tell him. "Or what?" Approaching, and I step back. I swear that if he approaches, I give him a slap., and I'm sure I have the guts to do it. He approached again and I end up in the wall. "So what?" He insists. Is staring at me, his blue irises are trained on me. He’s charming. I think. And dangerous. Adds my subconscious. I can’t stand anymore,I don’t control over my hand, which leaves him a slap on the right cheek.
“And now go away.”
It remains visibly upset, I believe that anyone, much less a girl has ever dared to confront him. I look at him for a second, then my focus back on Zayn. "Bella, help me, let's get him to the infirmary." She nods and he does it.
Zayn does nothing to thank me for the whole journey, and Bella instead praises me saying that I was great, but really I haven’t done anything about that. That guy doesn’t scare me, but I want to know more about him, so I do to Zayn few questions.
"He moved here last year. His name is Louis Tomlinson, and soon became the most feared boy at East High. Maybe because it is a violent type, and you were really unconscionable to put you in the middle." he says, but what else could I do? I couldn’t let him bleed to death. "All the girls run after him, but he already has one: Eleanor Calder, is the leader of the cheerleaders." but how will you ever like a guy like that? He’s really obnoxious, poor Eleanor.
Zayn continues to thank me even though I told him that there is no need. After leaving him in the infirmary, Bella and I go back to our respective classes.
The day seems endless. But then finally the last bell rings and we all go out.
Returning home, I have to do it on foot, and is a nice ride. As I walk on the sidewalk, clips from the first day of school crop up in my mind: the clash with beautiful, Zayn on the ground, and that Louis. If I think about it I just boils the blood from nervous. Great great first day, Mitch. He tells me my subconscious, but I will not listen to him. I know I did the right thing, and do not regret it.
I finally arrive home, open the door and go to the spiral stairs, but my mother hears me:
"Honey, how was school today?"
All right I would say before the headmaster with me in class, then finish him with a girl, and then a slap shot to a type of bully front of the entire school, do you think can fit? "Nothing happened in particular. Usual boring stuff from the first day of school." outcome for a moment. "Where's Daddy?" "On the back, is talking to a neighbor." Oh well, I'll say goodbye then. "I run on the back and I find my father talking to a gentleman, more or less his age." Hello Mr.?" "Malik” Smiles. “You are?” "Mitchie, Mitchie Lockwood, sir." "You go to school at East High?" Says. "My son is studying there for some time now." His face has some features known. "Excuse me sir, but who is his son? "" His name is Zayn." He tells me. Maybe it's the same Zayn that I defended this morning, I wouldn’t surprise me if it were so. Remainder to talk about my plans for the future with our neighbor until I realize that it's really late. "Now if you'll excuse me sir, I must go, I have to study, it was a pleasure to meet you, see you soon.” I greet. I go up to my room and i stay there for the whole in the evening, then I end up falling asleep exhausted.
