My head hurt. Next to me on the floor was the chair I threw at Caleb. I remembered it was sort of thrown back at me. Satin, that bitch. So much for the fairy tale princess image. She blasted that chair at me. Ugh.. I'm seeing double.

"It's time, Allie... Stand and look..."

The voice in my head kept ringing along with the pain I felt. I was wobbly when I stood, not realizing what was floating above the pool.

"Allie!" I heard Kaiser call. That snapped me out of my state and looked up. I screamed, my voice going hoarse as I watched the monster, writhing and roaring. It was so deafening; it drowned my own. Caleb was pulling it from the ground with Satin next to him, holding the box. I stared wide-eyed as the monster continued to struggle, smashing the windows and the walls.

"It's Leviathan.. He's the sea serpent demon. A demon prince of hell."

Demon prince. Kaiser mentioned about me saving the world from the demon princes of hell. I continued to stare. How the hell do you expect me to fight that monstrosity?! I'd die before I could get my chance to touch it.

Kaiser finally broke out of his ice prison and ran towards me but his movements caught the attention of Leviathan. The demon prince charged towards him and Kaiser pulled out his swords to block the gigantic head that was aiming for him. The collision proved to be so strong that Kaiser was slammed against the wall with so much force; he just fell on the ground, not able to move again. Leviathan pulled back and prepared to strike for the second time.

"Run, Allie! Save him!"

It really felt like time has stopped as I ran for Kaiser. I pushed myself as hard as I could to get my feet to move. Without thinking anymore of myself, I stood in between them, threw my arms wide open and prepared myself to receive the attack. I know I'm going to die. I am going to die. Leviathan stared and let out a deafening roar before he charged towards me. I closed my eyes and waited. I waited and it felt like it took forever for him to reach me.

The first thing I felt was the wind being knocked out of me. I couldn't breathe and something was fighting to get hold of my body from the inside. The light that surrounded me instantly was blinding and burning at the same time. Then a high-pitched screaming filled my head, just as that deafening cry awhile ago but only intensified in my head. I tried to cover my ears as if that could help. It was painful and heavy. I fell on the ground, writhing and my body felt hot one second then cool again the next. I tried to fight back and pushed whatever it was that has entered my body. But it was a futile attempt. The pain was excruciating. It felt like my bones were about to break. I really couldn't breathe and I could feel my face flushed, the muscles strained. I continued to struggle, wanting to end the pain.

"It has begun..." And the silence came over. I stopped moving. I couldn't move a muscle anymore. .

"Is she... dead?" I heard Satin asked with a shaky voice.

"No," Caleb replied. I don't know what's going on but I could hear uncertainty and fear in his voice. "Satin, be ready."

The shrill screaming started in my head again and I felt the ground shake. My body was starting to feel strange as if it's no longer mine. I didn't even know how I was able to stand. When I opened my eyes, all I see were irregular colorful shapes. I looked at Caleb and Satin and it was as if I saw the heat in their bodies. I heard the whizzing sounds coming towards me and I felt my hand move on its own. My vision started to clear up and I saw spikes of ice hurling in my direction. My hand made a waving move and water from the pool shattered the spikes to pieces. I was surprised. Did I do that? But I didn't even move my hand.
