Theo's POV

We arrive at school already getting annoyed by the presence of loud animal like teens, like who honestly as so much energy at 6 in the morning ?

Nya and I walk side to side tiredly and quietly making our way to our lockers. We approach our lockers to find them accompanied by Jessica, Ethan, Grayson, and a bunch of teens crowding them. We look at each other in confusion, "what the hell ?" Nya says taken back.

I roll my eyes and grab her hand,"hey what are you doing ?" I ignore her and push through the irritable teens or as I should say kids.

"Can you guys move ?!" I say with attitude, there heads turn to me and they all scoff. Ethan's hands are wrapped around Jessica's waist while Grayson has his arm around some chick. "Excuse me !" Jessica says in her high pitch annoying voice. "You heard the first time, I'm not gonna say it again now move !" The crowd 'oooo's ' as all three of them become iterate.

Nya looks shocked but I haven't been in the greatest mood lately, I don't need a bunch of pricks walking all over me. Just as Ethan is about to open his mouth a teacher walks in the circle."Ethan, Grayson Coach Griffen wants to see you two "

Thank God I couldn't stand them being in my space, they both turn to both their girls and give them a peck on the lips before leaving. They look at me as they walk away, Jessica shoves her shoulder into mine, I scoff while the crowd disperses.

"Jesus what just happened ?" Nya asks, I laugh. "Honestly I don't know"
We take our extra books and shove them in our lockers." So do you think we'll be able to hang out today ?" I ask with hope in my eyes.

"Of course, let me just text my mom" she pulls her phone out and types away. "Well, she said yes" I smile happily, "okay good I'll pick you up at 5"

We close our lockers, making a slam sound echo throughout the hallway. The first bell rings and the hallways become crowded with half asleep teens pushing and stepping on people's shoes.

Nya and I walk to our first class together and our day starts.

-after school-
-5:00 PM-

I've been home for about an hour or two, and I'm completely done. My mom told me why she was dressed as a maid, she said they hired her as a caterer because she couldn't find a convenient local job.

It pisses me off really, and on top of that I don't feel comfortable being here, they don't act like a family and the twins make it unbearable to live here.

I grab my mom's car keys and leave a note telling my mom I'd be out with Nya.
I get in my mom's car and back out of the driveway, the 1975 plays softly as I begin to shift out of reverse.

Traffic was a hustle as people rush home from work or school, it's what we call the rush hour in Jersey. After about ten minutes I pull up on Nya's driveway. I take out my phone and text her.

-On the phone-

Me- yo.

Nya 💕- wht up ?

Me- I'm here.

Nya- k, be out there in two.

Me- kk💕😊

The front door opens with Nya bouncing up and down hype. I laugh at her goofiness as she opens the door."wha'd up" she slams the door."so I was thinking we could get coffees and then go to the mall " she looks at me "sounds like a plan"

"Hell ya" I say, usually when we end up going out together we get kicked out of stores, we don't go there to shop we go there to dare each other to do stupid shit.

We laugh and sing along to some music that plays randomly on my playlist.

-after hanging out-

Things were lit in the mall, security escorted us out. Nya dared me to pull a stranger's pants down and I had to to be an ultimate savage so I couldn't deny. The whole car ride home consist of us laughing our asses off.

After driving Nya home, my mood begins to drop realizing I have to return back to my now so called home. Stalling I turn the car into a sushi bar to grab some takeout for me and my mom.

Tonight I'm gonna have a girls night with my mother, she deserves after working hard long hours being a care taker for a house.

I pull in on the drive way parking behind Lisa's Mercedes. I walk in the house to see it empty and quiet, which is very unusual for me.

My life back when my dad was alive was full of life and happiness. Every time I'd get home my dad would greet me while my mom would be cooking up some dinner for a family night in the family room. As you could tell we were very close and when my dad passed everything including my happiness faded.

Rushing up the stairs I find my mom laying in bed sleeping. I sigh and look at her, walking up to her to give her a kiss on the head.

I quitely close her door and walk to my room, I sit there and start binge watching TV shows.

HOURS LATER**

Suddenly I hear the door slam interrupting my show. I walk to my door and open it, soon Ethan and Jessica come stumbling from around the corner; acting very tipsy.

Jessica turns her head and we make eye contact, my eyes widen and I shut the door fastly. 'Shit, shit, shit' I mutter under my breath.

If Jessica finds out I live with Ethan and Grayson she'll eat me up and blackmail me.
Knowing her she'll probably spread the gossip around the school.

Let's just hope that when she wakes up tomorrow she won't remember a thing....
