Chapter 8

Nyla's p.o.v

I was sitting on a log gazing into the fire when Rosie came up to me "Nyla can you play with my hair," She says in her cute little voice that made everyone melt inside or caused us to become wrapped around her little finger, not that we minded at all.

"Sure sweetie," I say and she sits on my lap so I could play with her hair, I braided it and twirled it in circles.

We were having fun and goofing off until Felix came over "Felix can you take me to see the mermaids?" Rosie says while tugging at his pant leg which was the cutest thing I've ever seen.

"After, I need to talk to Nyla for a second ok," He says and Rosie goes off to play with Ryland and Twiggy.

Felix sits down beside me "So what do you need to tell me Goldilocks?" I say with a smile as I received a glare from him.

"That Pan wants to see you and don't call me that," Felix continuing to glare as I got up from my seat.

"Alright then, see you later Goldilocks," I say walking over to Peter still feeling Felix glaring at my retreating back. "You wanted to see me?" I asked with a confused look as he gazed up at me.

"Aw yes, follow me," He says before walking into the forest.

Running I caught up with him, we walked for a few minutes before Peter stopped at the base of a tree and turned around before sitting down. "So what did you want to tell me?" I asked sitting in front of him.

"I found out why Hook had Rosie," He says looking at me with saddened eyes.

"Really! Why?" I replied curiously because I really wanted to know. She could've been hurt, or worse.

Pan gives me a gloom look before saying "He wanted to extract her magic to have enough power to bring someone back to Neverland someone who shouldn't have been here in the first place," He has a worried look in his eyes as he said this and I moved closer to him.

"Who does he want to bring back to Neverland? Who Peter?" I say looking down at him as he looks back at me kind of scared, which isn't a look I've seen from him.

"Wendy Darling," He says.

"But I thought Rosie and I were the first girls in Neverland?" I say confused. Like yeah I knew Wendy came to Neverland in the the fairytales bit I thought since Peter said Rosie and I were the first girls, that she wasn't here before in real life. The fact that Pan is scared of her coming back just makes me even more worried, because Peter Pan didn't seem to be scared of anything. Until now.

"You technically are. You're the first girls we don't regret having in Neverland," He says shaking his head and running his hands through his hair, I sit up on my knees and place my hand on his shoulder.

"What happened that's got you like this Peter?" I asked rubbing his arm and he looks up at me. I really wanted to know how different this was from the stories and so far it was incredibly different.

"You really want to know?" He asks and I nod giving him a reassuring look.

"Well my shadow brought her here, just like everyone else, at first she was nice to us all and then things started going bad. Wendy has powerful magic and she cast a love spell to make all the lost boys fall madly in love with her. It never worked on me because of my powerful dark magic, but anyway the lost boys would fight for her love. They would turn on each other and do everything she asked even if she told them to fight me. I needed to get her off the island because I didn't want that she devil ruining the island I created. So with the help of Tinkerbell we managed to get her away from the island hoping she would never return, if she comes back here I'm not sure if I can keep you and Rosie safe," He says looking sad.

I couldn't help myself, he was hurting so I pulled him into a hug, he was shocked at first but eventually put his arms around my, hugging back "I'm sure Rosie and I will be safe Peter, I have powerful magic too so I can protect Rosie and the lost boys can protect both of us," I reassure him, looking into his beautiful forest green eyes, he has sort of a sparkle in them.

Slowly he began leaning in as he places a kiss on my forehead "I'm almost certain Felix would rip Wendy's head off before she touched Rosie," I say causing him to laugh.

"I heard you call him Goldilocks earlier," He states with a chuckle.

"Yeah he hated it," I say.

 We sat and talked for a few more minutes before deciding to go back to camp, we walked hand in hand through the vast forest.

All was the same at the camp, people were sitting around sharpening their weapons and what not, Rosie came up to me "There's another girl in Neverland," She says pointing to a girl tied up to a big oak tree. The girl was short and had long wavy blonde hair, when she saw Peter and I, her head tilted in confusion then she noticed our joined hands which made her glare daggers at me. What the hell is her problem?

When she looked at Peter she gives an evil grin and I feel Peter tense up "Miss me, Pan?" She says with a mock laugh, Pan glares at the girl and only says one thing "Wendy"..................

well things are certainly getting interesting aren't they, I wonder what Wendy is going to do, only way to find out is to stay tuned till the next chapters.
