I heard Scarlet shriek from her room, I didn't want to go check because she normally gets mad at me when I peek in on her room especially at night. As soon as it heard the little scream of terror it was back to being quiet, she knew I wasn't really asleep. It got me reminiscing to about 5 years ago...

I was walking home from school I was about 16 years old at the time and I was excited to meet my half brothers for the first time. My ears were in my hood and fluffy tail taped to my back so it wasn't noticed. When I opened the front door fear took over that excitement. It looked like a scene from a horror  movie holes in the walls, stuff knocked over and broken, a trace of  memory powder, blood on the carpet, and my two dead parents on the floor below a suited man from the organization that I've come to fear... A.W.T.OK

They run test on supernaturals to see what kills them and even if the supernaturals survive the painful tests they are killed anyway, it completely in humane. *
The man looked at me in surprise. He had a look on his face that read guilt, but at that point I didn't care. All I wanted was to see him die the way he had seen my parents.  I had put the pieces together fairly quickly, he memory dusted the rest of my family making them forget me and my parents. He did this. He killed them. He killed the people I love. He made them forget about the people I love. He will suffer.  As if I changed into a different person all together I could feel power inside me and all I wanted to do at that moment was to get my revenge,but sadly I never got it. I heard other Awtok's near so I fled. In no time the two Awtoks were behind me and chasing me through the woods near my house. I kept running staring behind me the whole time not realizing I was about to run into someone. I hit the dirty forest floor feeling a pain in my head, then instantly being pulled off the ground looking down remembering what I just saw. I thought that it was an Atwok pulling  me but I could still hear them yelling behind me so I  looked up to realize it was a fox girl pulling me in the direction of an abandoned cottage. She pull me in inside and stared a fire I sat near it with my head hung low. " What's you name" she asked sitting down across from me. "W-what?" I said confused and starless at the same time. She giggled then said " I'm Scarlet what's yours". "Y-Y/N" I responded quietly. " Cool" is all she said for the rest of the night. I fell asleep shortly after our conversation remembering my parents, what they did for me, what they did for each other, what they should have been, what they are now.

I woke up and found my self alone, I hoped all night long that this was just a dream but I could tell that now it wasn't. I started to cry remembering my parents once again. " I brought food" Scarlet said coming through the door she sounded confused like she didn't know what to do with me. " Thank you" I said Bowing trying to wipe the tears from my eyes. I looked up and saw a blush on her " You don't need to bow" she said. " I do you saved my life" I responded. " I-I'm gonna make breakfast" she said and headed over to the now dead fire staring it up again. During breakfast I stared talking, I told her everting trying not to cry, how the Awtok's killed my birth parents and most likely kill my half brothers and their parents. She told me her story after I finished.
Since that day we have been on the run from the Awtok's changing houses every 3 days today is the last day in this house we are going to be going to a be look for apartments tomorrow. My dog Angle jumped on my bed as I fell asleep.
