I arise to the sound of my phone blaring countless messages. I groan tiredly. My eyes flicker to my digital clock and I mentally scream. 6:00. Time for school. I roll out of bed and onto the floor. I don't want to get up, but I know I have to. I slither to my closet to put on whatever clothes I see first.
I yank the first few items I see off their hangers and put them on. I would care more if my clothes didn't all match. I made my wardrobe so that I wouldn't have to worry about things like that. It's been one of the most useful things in the world.
I walk over to unplug my phone out of its charger. My eyes scan the messages, and it takes me a solid five seconds to remember where I am. I run to my window and open the blinds. It's definitely not the same view I've We always had in my window.
I run back to my phone and open up the iMessage app. Everyone is just as confused as I was yesterday. The chat stops completely for a few minutes before Black Sasuke types out a message.
Okay everyone, now that I've explained the basics to all of you, let me tell you all something you just know. Phones are not a thing in the Naruto universe, and all of you have phones. These phones are your secret weapons. They function as normal phones would. You can even rewatch the entire Naruto series if you please.
I've made it so that your phones can never be misplaced or broken. All you have to do for your phone to reappear in your hand the way it was is mumble the words "Rexamius". Though it sounds like a Harry Potter spell, it will always, without fail, bring you back your phone.
I made it like that so that I can keep communicating with all of you and so that you can all communicate with each other. You can technically only converse with one another, so you might want to meet up in person.
You can also use your phones as a way to learn ninja hand signs. And in case you get bored. I'm generous, I know.I shove my phone into my back pocket and open the door to the kitchen. I walk out and slap on a couple of things together for breakfast. I stuff the food into my mouth and head out the door.
Today is my first day of training with Kakashi. I'm excited, but nervous at the same time. I'm going to be trained by the copycat ninja. The sixth Hokage. One of the most skilled Sharingan users. But on the other hand, I'm trash at ninja stuff and I've never done a single Jutsu in my life.
I ignore everything welling up inside of me and prance wherever my feet happen to take me. Without a clue to where the training fields are, I try and look for a ninja to give m directions. Unfortunately for me, no one seems to be awake at this hour, so I'm left to wonder on my own.
I eventually find someone out and about. They seem to be ready to head out somewhere, but my needs can't wait.
"Excuse me, do you know how to get to the training fields?" I ask. The man cocks his head to the side, and I once again realize that no one understands me. Suddenly, an idea enters my mind.
I pull out my phone (which earned me a very strange look from the man before me) and I pulled up google translate. I type in my question and then press the read-aloud button. It sounds like English to me, but the look on the man's face lets me know that it is in fact in Japanese.
The man smiles at me with a nod. "Just walk straight until you reach the woods. Then take a right and you should get there." I mutter "Arigato" under my breath and run to my destination.
Upon arriving at the woods, I notice that Kakashi isn't anywhere to be found. I then remember his habit of being late. I moan loudly and throw myself on the ground. I ignore the pain I feel upon falling and start recalling all the times Kakashi left Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura waiting. Most of the time, the main character in the fan fiction ends up being with Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura. Iruka says there'll be a team with four people, then, oh wow! The protagonist ends up being the fourth person! But all that would just work out too perfectly. Not only that, but the team is carefully crafted. It makes no sense for the protagonist to be in a team in which they don't belong. But this is no fan fiction. Though the fact that I'm in my favorite anime is bizarre. The possibilities of me actually being on their team are really low. It's likely that I won't even be in the same year as them. I still haven't figured out when in Naruto I am.
