Never Neverland

Aubrey met Peter Pan. She's sure of it. He came in the middle of the night and showed her how to fly. They went to the second star to the right, and straight on till morning. After she returned, she would not stop looking for him. She believed in him. Yet no one else did.

Her parents especially did not believe her. They would take her to all sorts of strange places where people would poke her and prod her, testing this and that, injecting things, giving her strange pills....

Then one day her parents took her away, on a 'vacation', they said. All of her clothes were packed, her toys and her favorite teddy bear too. She was curious that they had packed everything they did, but she was too excited to question it. They went to a big, strange building that didn't look like a hotel.

Her parents left her there and did not return.
