Who is Back?

Piper POV

It's been 3 months since what happened. December. Today I am going to see Noah to discuss what happened because it literally has taken over my mind.

I got in the cab and got driven to the prison. I got out, shutting the door behind me and took a deep breath before walking in. I signed in and sat at a table, waiting for the brown haired, tatted boy I once knew to be escorted here.

I fiddled with my fingers in anxiety, the waiting was filling me with great tension and it is really worrying.

"Piper." I felt a gentle tap on the shoulder. I turn around see Noah. He looked like he hadn't slept properly for ages.

His hair messy unbrushed yet still decent enough. His figure still looked the same. He had been given a haircut as you could probably tell.

He didn't even try to harm me. We talked and then he said "get me out of this place. Please. I didn't kill Richelle,, yes I had a massive crush on her but why would I want my crush dead?" He had tears in his bloodshot eyes.

Scars and bruises all over his body. This is going to be a tough day.

We talked and he even apologised for what he did. But I couldn't fully believe him. Especially after what he did. He raped me. And I didn't file charges. Now he's already in prison for homicide and this charge of sexual assault. I feel guilty for the state he's in. Yet, I shouldn't feel that way. It's not my fault. Is it? I know he knows how to fake a cry. Put on an emotion he doesn't really feel. Fucking sociopath if you ask me. His therapist confirmed it. I'm pretty sure. His manipulative ways are definitely something that could've impacted the way things went down with Richelle. Why he strangled her. Why he stabbed her. How he lost control. What happened with him. What events lead up to Richelle's death. And are the convicts.. rightfully convicted? Lord knows.

He was starting to grow a bit of stubble which made him look a bit older. More mature. Not that it changed anything. Never be too careful.
