Noah POV

Here I was, waiting with Thalia for the moment of truth to see if I was able to be released or not. I was quite nervous, I can't spend another day in this hell! Thalia's mom is honestly the nicest person ever. That's why when my parents go on global business trips, I can stay over and she doesn't mind.

My parents are in Japan right now. They were told about the situation and even sent some money to help with my bail price. I am thankful for my parents and the fact they care instead of just having a go at me.

I felt Thalia put her hand on my shoulder, she knew I was worried and just reassured me that it was going to be okay in the end.

Suddenly, Thalia's mom had come out the office, without the briefcase. "Noah Pappas-Erlick, you are now prohibited to leave the premises." OHMYGOD, I can finally leave! I owe it all to Thalia and her idea for the fundraiser and all she did for me. I wrapped my arms around her and picked her up, spinning her round "I'm finally going!" and put her down. I know I have been annoying to her in the past, but now I will most definitely treat her better.

I flopped onto the bed, finally being able to relax. This is all I've wanted since I was put in jail - to leave that place and be back where I belong. "You know, you practically live here." I heard a voice say, laughing. "I know, it's like home to me." I replied, also laughing.

"You should get some rest, Noah. All that cold and non-sanitary state could have damaged your body a lot!" Hahaha I appreciated how Kat (Thalia's Mom) cares for me like another son. I haven't slept in months because of all this trauma. My parents haven't even been around so nobody has any idea how much it means to be cared for like this.

Kat left and in walked the midnight haired cutie. "Heyyy Noah! How are you?" She asked. "Better now I'm not in prison anymore!" she nodded and laughed as we talked even more before she left as she could tell I was falling asleep for the first time in a while. She was right.. within two seconds - I shut off like I was being turned off by a switch.
