Its funny how your life changes.One minute im watching spongebob (laugh all you want) and the next minute two *cough cough* very attractive police officers were standing on my doorstep telling me i just lost my parents.
This is how my world came crashing down.Gone was the loving and happy family.
Now im sitting in a taxi going to live with my aunt who lives in california.
Oh where are my manners.Please allow me to introduce my self.
My name is Emily Summers.I am 16 years old.I have dark brown hair and light blue eyes.
Nor i am pretty nor ugly i think i am neutral.
I was so lost in my thoughts i didnt even notice the driver holding the door open for me.Blushing i got out.
"Thankyou,sir" i uttered
"You're welcome,maam" he replied with a smile.
After gathering my luggage.I made my way towards the cute two story pale green coloured house.
I waited a few minutes after ringing the bell.I expected to be greeted by aunt demitra but a girl around my age with brown shoulder length hair just like mine and brown eyes greeted me.
"Hello?" she spoke while giving me a questioning look.
"Um hey, im emily"
"You're emily?" i nodded."Omg your so pretty" she squealed and step aside for me to step inside.
"Sarah dear who is it?" i heard aunt ask.When she saw me she beamed and before i could process i was engulfed in a bone crushing hug.
"Aunt Demi your crushing me" I laughed.
"Im sorry dear im am just too excited to see you" aunt demi wispered i smiled " oh and have you met sarah she is our neighbour and goes to the same school as you will be going"
Sarah smiled at me which i returned.
"Sarah dear can you please show Em her bedroom" Aunt demi requested.
"Sure auntie" "Follow me Emily"
The house was beautiful it had cream coloured walls.The living room had a tv on left side and the cupboards holding decorations and picture frames on the right side.An L shaped sofa and a coffee table was placed in front of the tv.
"Here we are" Sarah motioned towards a white door."I better get going mom will be waiting for me" "it was good meeting you Emily"
"You too" i said with a smile and then she was gone.
My room was just wow,the walld were lavender but the wall behind the bed was of dark puple colour.I have a queen sized bed with white and purple sheets.The dressing table and the closet was situated on the opposite side of the bed.
Yoohoooo and i even had my own bathroom.
Overall i loved my room.
I opened my suitcases and started hanging my clothes inside the closet.I was putting my toilettes when aunt demi called for dinner.
"Hey sweetie i made lasagne"
"Oh yum yum" i said and aunt demi laughed.
The dinner went well.We both avoided the topic about my parents and i was thankful for it.We talked about my life back home and aunt told me about the town and her job.She works as an interior designer proving why the house was so beautiful.
After dinner i helped aunt with the dishes and after brushing my teeth and changing into my comfortable spongebob pajama shots and my dads shirt i fell in a cozy deep slumber.
