This story is written by the author. By me.

The song for OSG is...

Skipping Stone by Claire De Lune

It really fits this story. Try reading this while playing the song. Just click on the video down there.

I hope you enjoy it! Mwah!

-------------------------------------------------------------

I never thought that life could be a real roller coaster. It turns you upside down. The only choice you have is to hold on or vomit. And here I am, standing at the back of the crowd. Well, I'm not alone.  All the chosen students from high school are lined up properly for a dance.

Everything is well organized.

"Aw!" Well, not everything.

My heart beats so fast, ten times faster than it should be. I don't know I can even feel my heart beat this fast. Just because of one person. Just because of a pinch on my left cheek.

I looked at him with an annoyed expression on my face. Oh gods, I'm trying hard not to smile or I might just pop out hearts from my eyes. This is  so hard.

Trying your best to wall up yourself so that people won't know what you truly feel.

And I'm feeling....death.

His smiles. His eyes. His breath. His hands that pinches my cheek every moment. I'm not even hurting when he does that. I just pretend I do.

I know, I'm crazy.

"That hurts." I grunt.

"Sorry, babe."

And there. I died.

No, I didn't. I just almost died but fortunately I didn't. You see? Those hopeful words of his makes me shiver my whole body. And I don't know my heart can even beat faster than it did earlier.

Babe.

Babe.

Babe.

Babe.

That would be the last word I'd want to hear. It just reminds me of everything. Everything from the past. Just like the old times. When he is still holding my hands like he will never let me go. But then again, that was a long time ago.

"As if I can do anything about it."

Then everyone settled down on their seats. And it's our cue to walk according to what we rehearsed. We settled on our positions in front of the crowd.

And we danced.

A disaster.

The sound system didn't cope up with us. It sucks, in short. Unfortunately, we didn't get to finish our dance.

"That was....ugly." They all agreed with what James said. And I did too, not minding if I'm the one who taught them.

"The sound system is kind of our enemy. It's not our fault guys." I simply said as we went back to our proper seats.

Unfortunately, he's behind me. No, he is behind the person behind me. So far though. The program started.

Then it's time for me to walk up the stage. Don't get me wrong, I'm not an honor. I just got four academic awards. I smiled as the flash meets my plain eyes.
