Oh crap! There was blood in my pants again. Why do girls get this? Yes, I know the biology, but why can’t mother nature just say, ‘You’re safe! Not pregnant this time!’
I got up, cleaned myself and headed downstairs for breakfast. It was really early around 5 am, but I had bad stomach cramps and just wanted to dump myself onto the couch with a bowl of coco pops and watch stupid American programmes, like The Next Top Model and How I Met Your Mother. There was no chance of me getting back to sleep at this hour.
After an episode of The Next Top Model, I was flicking through the channels when I heard a fumbling at the door. The house was silent. Hope was asleep still, and Destiny was…
‘Hey! Daren not like that! Hehe.’ I heard a faint giggle coming from outside, then a key was inserted into the keyhole, and unlocked the front door.
‘Well how else do you want me to do it.’ I heard a husky male voice, that sounded as if he was flirting.
The front door was pushed open, and on the other side was my sister making out with a guy clearly way older than her. He had his hand down her top, and around her waist, fully engrossed in a passionate full on kiss.
I stood up from the sofa, shocked. I almost dropped my cereal on the floor. Crap. I had spilled my orange juice. Oh dear…
I guess Destiny was still angry with me about the whole house party issue, and I really should have apologised, but the truth is I really didn’t have the guts. What if she freaked out, and invited more people over to get revenge on me? She was one of those people who think that revenge is a dish best served cold. Personally I find that really creepy.
After realising that my sister was STILL snogging some random guy, and hadn’t even noticed I was there, I ducked down quickly behind the sofa.
What? Why was I hiding? Damn it Faith! Why?!
I popped my eyes just above the level of the sofa, enough so I could see them but they couldn’t see me. Destiny was completely taken away by the kiss, being pushed against the door by the guy, who I think was called Darren. For some reason I remember his face…
You know when you get that feeling you know somebody but you can’t remember why? Yeah I was getting that, and I knew it would come to me in a minute… Think Faith think!
I was stopped in my thoughts, when I heard groaning noises. I peered round the sofa to see what it was, and I could see Darren pulling Destiny’s top of violently. He seemed to be caressing her face, and chest, and then I noticed him fiddling with Destiny’s bra. NO… Oh God. I have to get out of here!
‘Wait.’ I heard Destiny’s voice. She was panting and seeming out of breath.
‘Yeah?’ It was Darren. He was kissing all over Destiny’s neck, collarbone and shoulders, refusing to pull away from Destiny, as if they were attracted by some kind of electromagnetic attraction, unable to rip each other apart.
‘You know the bra clasp is at the front. Here.’ She said pointing to the front of her chest, where the clasp to her bra was.
Eww Eww Eww! NO! I don’t want to see this!
At this point I was curled in a ball behind the sofa, with my head on my knees, listening to this torturous conversation.
‘But, if you wanna…,’ Destiny made a signal with her eyes, ‘We should really go to the bedroom, if you know what I mean?’ I could imagine Destiny winking at Darren, flirting with him, and dragging him along behind her to her bedroom.
‘Ohhh. Sure babe. I’m coming.’ Darren whispered in his sexy masculine voice, trotting off after Destiny like some kind of horse getting its dinner of apples and sugar cubes.
Uh, what a loser.
These kind of guys would do anything to get into bed with a girl like Destiny. It disgusts me. But at least I didn’t have to watch anything else. Always look on the bright side of life, am I right, or am I right?
