im trying to understand

(MAYA'S POV)

We were on our way back home after the dinner after niall told me the news I went completely silent.He tried talking to me but I really didn't know what to say I was sad that he was leaving for a whole year but he was accomplishing his dreams and I couldn't stop him from doing that

"Maya" niall called

I remained silent I just kept looking out the window I didn't want to say anything because I know if started talking I would break down in tears

I sniffed a little and instantly niall knew I was going to cry

"babe please don't cry.you know I cant control things like that I hate seeing you cry especially if its because of me"he said

"I know you can't control it but your going to be gone for a whole year not just a couple weeks a whole year! your going to miss arianna and the twins growing up" I said while tears were rolling down my cheeks

its not that I'm upset that he's leaving I'm upset that the kids are going to miss there father and they wont see him for a whole year

"I know I am and its killing me ill miss you guys like crazy but its my job" he said

And that's where the conversation ended there was just too much on my mind we reached the house and I quickly got out of the car leaving niall behind I opened the front door and ran to our room

"Maya lets talk" he said while running after me

"niall, I really don't want to talk about anything right now I'm really tired and I just want to go to sleep" I said

"but we have to talk about what were going to do" he said

"I already told you I don't want to talk" I snapped

cant he take a hint?

"are you serious? I'm trying to talk to you and you just keep pushing me away im trying to not make this a fight and you just keep making it worse" he snapped back

"than leave" I said

why did I just say that?

niall looked at me shocked than said "fine" he turned around walking out of the room while slamming the door shut I sighed and threw myself on the bed

I knew niall was trying really hard for us to work and I just basically told him to stop trying

I just went sleep so I could worry about my problems tomorrow

My cellphone ringing brought me out of my slumber I grabbed it from the night stand and answered

"hello" I said in a sleepy voice

"hey Maya are you going to come get the kids soon"Louis said

"yea ill be there in twenty minutes sorry I overslept" I said while glancing at the clock

it was already one

"its OK and just to let you know niall is here" he said and hung up

Great! I can already tell my day is going to start off bad

i quickly brushed my teeth and hair when i get back ill take a nice long shower

I was in front of Louis house and i knocked on the door

niall opened the door and moved out of the way so i could enter,he didnt say a word to me

is this how he's going to act? fine.

I went inside the living room and they were all playing on the carpet

"babies" i said and they all turned there heads to me

"mommy" arianna squealed and the twins crawled to me

i gave them all kisses on the cheeks

"did you have fun baby?" i asked arianna

she nodded her head and said "daddy play ball"

i just smiled at her, i really wasn't happy with her daddy

"OK were going home say goodbye to uncle Louis" i said

arianna went to go give Louis a hug and i grabbed the twins placing them each on a hip.after arianna finished saying goodbye we made our way to the front door

"thanks again Louis i owe you" i said

"it was no problem" he said

I didn't know where niall was and i really didn't care Louis opened the door for me and i thanked him

"ill talk to him" he said

"it wasn't his fault i overreacted I'm just really going to miss him i have never been away from him for a year and its going to take time getting use to " i said

"all i wanted to do was talk to you" niall said coming out of no where

"i know i just didn't want to cry in front of you because i know you would feel bad" i said

'Maya its OK to cry  it shows that your human i just don't want you shutting me out i want you to be able to tell me everything i don't want any secrets in our relationship" he said

"im sorry" i said placing a kiss on his lips

"im sorry too'' he said

"aww look at the happy couple" louis said

"shut up" me and niall said at the same time

"romantic as this is my daughter is coming over today so you need to leave i need to spend quality time with her" he saiad

we quickly left his house to have our own family time
