Chapter 4

Tamar's POV (5 months later)

Its been 5 months and Mya still hasn't woke up and everybody is a emotional wreck especially Vince he keeps on saying its his fault and i hate seeing him like that we was all in Mya's room when the machines started to go off we all got scared so i called a doctor in he came in with a bunch of nurses and they pushed us out we were all so worried and all i could think was my baby girl going to survive or not about 20 minutes later a doctor came out

Doctor- we needed everyone to clear the room because the machines went off telling us that she was waking up so we had to run test on her and everything looks good she is awake and you may now go see her

Vince- thank you so much

Doctor- Np

We were all excited to see her and hear her voice so when went back to her room  she look at us confused  we all ran to her and gave her hugs they toke the tubes out of throat but she still had the cast on her leg and arm on but i'm just happy to see her awake

Me- Mya

Mya- who are you who's Mya

Then the doctor walked in

Doctor- i'm sorry to interrupt but i forgot to meant when A'mya, Lamar, and Latasia got in the car crash A'mya hit her head very hard and that's why the bandages is on her head but she has developed amnesia the only way to restore her memory is you guys will have to remind her who she is but you don't want to rush her because if you do it can cause stress and stress is very bad for a person who has amnesia

Vince- how long will it take to actually restore her memory?

Doctor- well there's no telling there could be bad news where its permanent and the good new in where its temporally but to answer your question it could take up to days ,weeks ,months even years

Me- thank you doctor

Doctor- no problem *walks out*

Vince- Mya are you still mad at me?

Mya- why would i? I don't even know you

Vince- its me your father

Mya- i have a father?

Me- yes Mya do you recognize anybody in this room

Mya- no am i suppose to?

Me- well yeah there your family

Toni- its me auntie toni

Traci- traci

Towanda- umba

Trina- trina

Mommy- mama

Mya- am i suppose to have people i don't know in my hospital room?

Trina- are you saying you don't remember everyone in here

Mya- no but I'm sorry

Mommy- no need to apologize it's ok

Toni- yeah you will remember us in time

Mya- ok

  (3 days later still Tamar's POV)

Its been 3 days and Mya still doesn't remember anything
And we get to go home today the nurse wheelchair and gave her crutches because she still has the cast on her leg but she got the cast of her arm yesterday so when we got in the car we drove home We got there about 10 minutes we got out and went inside

Mya- where am i?

Me- your home sweety

Mya- if this is my home where's my room?

Me- upstairs lets go up there

We walk up there well she hoped until we got to the top of the stairs is when she got back up on her crutches we walk to her room and i opened the door she sat on the bed

Mya- this is my room?

Me- yes

Mya- i love it

Me- you helped design it

Mya- i did?

Me- yes

Mya- ugh i don't remember! *puts hands on her head* why can't i remember anything!

Me- *sits on the bed beside mya and hugs her* its ok you will get your memory back don't worry about it when its time it will come back

Mya- i'm sorry i don't remember anybody

Me- you don't have to apologize  so worrying about it get you some rest

Mya- thank you

Me- your welcome baby girl *kisses forehead then walks out*

I got up and closed the door i went down stairs and when i got to the last step  the doorbell rung so i went to the door and opened it it was my sisters and mommy i let them in and we sat on the couch

Me- what are you guys doing here?

Toni- we came to check on mya how is she?

Me- well she's fine she still  doesn't remember anything

Mommy- just give her time

Tamar- when i was in her room when we got back home from the hospital we was talking and she got upset that she couldn't remember anything

Umba- she'll come around

All of a sudden we heard streaming it was coming from Mya's room we all got up and ran to her room
