I walked down the stairs seeing Sweet Pea in the living room where his grandmother and my mom were they seemed to talking an awful lot about me because as soon as they both saw me they stopped talking completely. My dad then walked out with a smile on his face which is weird because he hardly smiles For some reason I think somethings up.
" Y/N there you are we wanted you both here because we wanted to announce something to you both." My mom looked at us both, Sweet Pea looks at me confused not knowing what's happening.
" You and Sweet Pea must get married as soon as possible." My father says, looking amused.
Sweet Pea and I looked at eachother not saying a word. Ever since I came to the southside, Sweet Pea was the first person I meet before meeting Veronica and her friends once we were transferred to Riverdale High. Sweet Pea and I haven't even finished High School and now we're getting MARRIED.
" You two are nuts my sister isn't getting married at this age especially since you two are basically forcing her." My brother Joaquin walks into the room with an angry expression on his face, facing our parents.
" Mrs. Desantos I understand if you refuse to do thi-"
" No she's getting married to your grandson don't you worry about a thing this will be good for us." My mom cuts Sweet Pea's grandmother off.
Why you may ask that she wants me to marry Sweet Pea as you can see my parents are Serpents who are associated with Sweet Pea's grandmother which is Sweet Peas only family member alive who is the second most powerful in the southside. I never wanted to be a serpent knowing of the risks there is. I met Sweet Pea at the southside high where I was bullied by the ghoulies He was my savior since then we were best friends. Back at present time, I ran to my room crying knowing my parents are willing to actually marry me off.
"Y/N please open up..." Joaquin says outside the door.
I open the door looking at my raven haired brother crying for the first time I see him cry in front of me.
" I promise I'll save you from this marriage." He says in between sobs.
" When does mom want me to get married?" I ask Joaquin.
" In 2 months." I sob more hearing his response.
" Y/N I'm sorry I should have been a better brother to you but I didn't know about this until now I overheard them saying they have planned this since you were born."
I knew that I had to get engaged to Sweet Pea even if it was against our own will.
"Mom says to come into the living room now."
I go into the living room cleaning up my tears I look at Sweet Pea who has a sad expression on his face.
" Pea put the ring on her finger darling." His grandmother says to him, handing him the ring.
