Into the Closet and Secrets Revealed

The closet door shut behind them and a blast of dust sprayed them in the face. James wiped the dust from his glasses with his sweater sleeve and Waverely coughed on the air. After that brief interruption ceased, Waverley glanced up at James.

"So James, what do you want to do?" Waverley asked timidly knowing that the answer would be some kind of wild idea.

James reached past Waverley's head in a sudden movement and snuffed out the light in the tight room. He retracted his arm and placed it on her face. Waverley's breathing picked up drastically and a blush covered her entire face. James leaned in and Wavererly could feel his lips brush her skin.

"Prongs, what are you doing?" She squeaked.

Waverley could feel James's lips spread into a smile on her cheek. "Just close your eyes and wait for the surprise from the great Prongs of Hogwarts!"

She closed her eyes and muttered "Okay-" Waverley was cut off by James's mouth crush into hers.

Waverley stood there unresponsive for a second, not really sure what to do. The kiss was indeed a surprise, this was the last thing she expected. She let her lips to come together into a deep kiss. In that very second, the world seemed to stop and they were locked in that moment forever.

James pulled back first and looked at Waverley with a questioning expression. There was a loud pound on the door "Prongs! Waverley! Three minutes left to get it on." They hear Sirius bark at the closet. Waverley heard Moony laughing on the other side.

Waverley rolled her eyes "Only in Gryffindor..."

James prodded her nervously "So, uh, did that mean anything to you?" He asked with a light shake to his usual cheerful voice.

Waverley's mouth fell open before she thought of something good enough for her one true love. "James Potter, I have had a serious crush on you the very day we met on the Hogwarts Express all those years ago. This was a thing that could only exist in dreams and it actually came true! I'm sorry if you don't feel the same way because of Lily but I'm just telling you the truth."

A wide smile spread across James's face "Me too."

"Yea?"

"Yea."
