Chapter 3

Kylie P.O.V

My head was pounding when I woke up. I looked in the mirror. I looked like shit. I had bags under my eyes and my hair was a mess. I went and take a shower and got ready for school. I texted Scar asking her if she can take me to school too.

Once I got ready I checked the time. 7:56. Scar wasn't going to be here till 8:00, so I kept myself occupied my T.V. There was a knock on my door. I knew who it was so I grab my jacket and bookbag. I opened the door and scar stood there with an extra helmet. I took it and got on her motorcycle.

I felt kinda bad for not waking up Nash, but he'll probably skip school anyway.

When scar and I got to school, I saw Cameron on his car with his "followers". What surprised me was that Jesy was with him. It hurt me to see the Jesy with him. Scar saw my face and immediately took me inside school.

The bell rang and everyone rushed to their classes. I groan because I knew Cameron was in my first period. "Ok class since it's the first day of school, I thought we will do a little project with partners".

Everyone cheered. I looked around and spotted one of my friends Tony. He was nice and also very smart. "Class settled down I will be picking your partners". I groan.

" Andrea and Drake. Melanie and Drake. Tony and Amelia. Fuck there goes my partner. Kylie and Carter.".

Mhh ok maybe this wasn't as bad as I thought. But Carter was still one of the guys that hang out with Cameron. I sat next to him to discuss our project. Carter sat closer to me and our hands touch for a while. While our hand touch I saw Cameron glaring at Carter.

Maybe he do care about me. "So I was thinking Bout this book". I nodded and we got to work. "So I was thinking that you can come to my house and we can finish this project".

He agreed right before the bell was about to ring.

Scarlett P.O.V

I took Kylie home last night. I still couldn't believer Jesy did something like that, but was kinda happy I always hated her. I got myself ready and Kylie texted me if I could drive her to school with me. I texted her yes and got ready. I grab an extra helmet for Kylie and went.

I knocked on the door and Kylie came out. She took the helmet and hop on my bike. I drove us to school. When we arrived my eyes immediately looked at Carter. He had always been my crush for years, but I never told Kylie or Jesy because Jesy will steal him.

Kylie frown and I took her inside so she wouldn't see anymore of "them". The bell rang and I went to my classroom. People got out of my way when I walked to my class. I had his bad girl attitude because I simply didn't care about people but Kylie. She the only real friend I had. Plus she was actually a great person unlike Jesy.

I took a seat in the back next to the windows. A note was tossed at me and I growled. I looked at the note.

I did a pretend to gag and threw the note in the trashcan. I hated everyone here and am sometimes a heartless monster. I pity no one, but Kylie. I knew I shouldn't had every let me guard down around her. She the only one who knows about my dark past.

When the bell rung I walked outside to smoke. I pulled out a cigarette and lighter. The lighter was given to me from Kylie and I kept it since. I heard footsteps and tried to put out my cigarette. But to my surprises it wasn't a teacher.
